The Prettiest in NeverNear
Now I know why the de-icer was sprayed today. Snow with rain on top and temps in the teens later. Gah, I hate WI in the winter. We need ice skates on our flipping cars.

Victor is amusing me by trying to find a good place to hide a fig. He wanted it really, really bad while I was eating one. Of course he was going to hate it, but he took it anyway. I told him he has to eat it, so now he's walking around with it dangling from his lips while avoiding looking at me. The boy just ain't right.
Victor is a boxer right? They're scary looking but not as scary as they look. My daughter is trying to decide on a larger breed dog that kind of fits that bill where they are scarier looking than what they are.

I have Sonny's first birthday picture. He's in his highchair smashing his entire face into his cookie monster cake. The pic is an instant polaroid. Things sure have changed.
That sounds exactly like Ian's first b'day picture, he did the same thing! Arms out to the side, face first into the cake!:lol:

That weather sounds pretty lousy. Guaranteed to turn the roads into a skating rink.

I can identify with Victor and the fig. Charlie would likely do the same thing, and look guilty the whole time. Halibut on the other hand...she eats EVERYTHING. She would probably not only eat the fig, if you gave her the branch you picked it from she'd eat that too.

I guess a boxer could look scary to some people if they're not familiar with them. Apollo will be a year old December 1. He's on the big side at 85 pounds. He could very easily take someone down in a second if he really wanted to. Super strong, plays hard and rough, but thinks he's a lap dog and sweet as pie.

Boxers are pretty well represented in here! My son has one, and my sister also had one. They're good dogs, but definitely require a "master" or "mistress" that is in charge.
Yes, this. We'll probably always have a boxer, they are horrid puppies, but amazing adults. Victor is our third boxer and my favorite hands down. He's really a joy, he's hilarious and sweet.

He pushed the fig under the rug at the back door. I could see the little lump so luckily no one step on it.

Good morning from dark, damp, and gloomy WI. It's the kind of weather that just screams for a fire, hot cocoa, and a good book.

My son Ian's boxer is the same, totally a sweetheart, he just overwhelms you with his energy sometimes. :p

Still, sooooo much better than a present under the rug from the cats (dead mouse)

We are going over to my niece's house in about an hour for Thanksgiving. It should be enjoyable since the rest of the family does all the cooking and we just have to bring two tubs of ice cream! :) I'll be sure to take along a pair of ear plugs that I use for trap shooting in case the great nieces and great nephews are bouncing off the walls from all the stuff they eat... It will also be good to see some of my sisters again. I'll probably eat too much but I'll try to only have a little bit of EVERYTHING!
