Went online to
buy a dryer last night. Sears won on price/model, then we play the "who has it in stock" game? Of course the 2 stores closest to me won't have one until November! But lo and behold, the one in Delaware has it!! Stick it in the cart, go
through the screens for delivery - DAMMIT! Apparently they only deliver to my zip code Tues, Thurs and Sat, with the first available date after vacation is over.

Nope, not taking a day off work to wait for a dryer delivery.
OK, no biggie, I'll drive down and pick it up. Check the measurements, yup - it will fit in the Jeep no problem! The other added bonus is that if I pick it up, there is no sales tax!

So I go down this afternoon, and guess what? "So sorry Ms. P, but we don't have that model in stock" WTF?? Then why did the website tell me it was there and let me check out??
To make an already long story shorter, I ended up getting last years' version, at $100 less, PLUS a 10% discount for being a floor model.
Why is it that nothing is ever easy??
