It's a Brazilian rainbow boa. The new litter was born on 9/21, so hopefully around the 1st week in November.

They stay pretty small. Usually about 6' long, and pretty slender. Not the huge, fat ones that eat small children.

She's cute. I do like snakes, just not the big squeeze you or bite you kind. Sonny used to have a big snake. I babysat for it once. Once.

Very pretty snake!!

I used to have a couple of ball pythons, but I think the second one was ill. The first one I had was fine until a month or 2 after the second one was acquired. A friend of Andy's had it, and admitted to neglecting it, so he talked him into letting us have it. I really should have kept them separated, but not knowing a whole lot, I thought it looked fine. The first one was about as long as my leg, the second about a foot shorter.

Snakes make wonderful pets! They don't make loud noises, shed in a single go, and only poop occasionally!

Good morning! Not much exciting here, it's gloomy out. The assessor was at our house again last night, I asked him why he was re-assessing the hut when he just did it in mid August. He said he's getting a jump on 2018. What????? Gee thanks for the big increase in 2017 by the way. ugh.

I saw the orthopedic dr. Yesterday. He wants to put my foot ankle in a cast for 6 weeks. Several small tares. He said PT did more harm than good. For now I’m going with lifts till I see what work thinks. They have all kind of silly rules.

Oh wow! I was out going to the PO and getting a haircut and over to see the grandkids, got a call from work (phone was on silent). Apparently Larry and Bill called out sick, Ben has military leave this weekend. Which means Jim was the only one on the window! He has no clue on how to do the dispatch (set up containers for the truck from downtown to pick up) or closeout (how to do the bank deposit)! LOLOL What a cluster that must be!!

Our PO is really short handed right now. Mr. V now does every Saturday, and is on call the rest of the time. Hopefully they get it straightened out before the holiday shipping starts.

Time to go home and play with my new minion tank, it showed up today.

New minion tank is okay, but I hate the hex key screws. blech. I didn't realize it had those, and now Audrey won't want hers. She has a hard enough time with tiny screwdrivers. Anyone need a minion tank? $24. That's what I paid for it.
