I want chilly. I want leaves turning, a snap in the air, the change of smells, and bird hunting season. I want dogs in the brush, the sound of quail or pheasant coming up, ice cold water in creeks, wading and then having to keep moving or freeze to death. Dang, I miss fall.
You really, really need to move!

I'm baking today. I did burger buns, which turned out marvelous and now I'm waiting on the second rise of my bread. It's slow today, the hut is kind of chilly.
I'm baking a loaf of beer bread tomorrow while doing laundry. Just call me lazy.

We need details on the pumpkin dip....
That would be one can of pumpkin pie filling. One box of instant vanilla pudding and a container of cool whip.Combine all 3 in large bowl mix until fluffy..buy a box of Cinnamon Teddy Bear Grahams. Dip the grahams into the dip...mmmmm good.Quick easy and hardly any clean up. You can make it a couple of days before.

So I decided since I am NOT Suzi homemaker and since I hate eating out unless it's steakhouse fare. I am going to do all Crockpot cooking. Anyone have a recipe that you like? I made Baby Back ribs yesterday in it and they were divine...Prep time 3 minutes..

Chuck roast, one can of cream of mushroom soup, one packet of Lipton Onion Soup mix, about 1/2 C. water so it doesn't stick. Let it go all day, shred it and serve. At our house it's called String Beef, named by a foster son.
