Snow in Winter is like leaves in the Fall, I really enjoy them both to look at, but hope someone else can do all the work related to removing/cleaning up...
Yes, this! Plus it's the end of doing outside things, and we always have more outside things to do. Mr. V is working on that window right now. Hurry, hurry!

If it could snow and still be warm I'd be OK with that..I'd still buy bread but not the milk I really don't like milk..

So we got the new carpet down and everything.I moved my laptop to the kitchen table.Gated the entrance way and I have all MY dogs in here with me...The bird can still see me and talk to me but I'm far enough away that he can't bite me. I like it. Alot. Our sweet sweet little Dixie poor baby Kisses turns out she's a crime boss. We never let anyone around her but Rums. She ate out of his food dish if I let her. The other dogs weren't interested in her at all. She's food aggressive. She wants both beds and she picks a fight with Ricky every 10 minutes..Who knew? She likes to play too..Ricky will play with her but he's a little wary...on account of she's a crime boss..

And... the customer of the day award goes to:

A lady walked in, obviously in the well-to-do range, and asked if the driveway was where she should park for the 15 minute parking? I said no ma'am, you can't park in the driveway, we have trucks coming in all the time. She says something about "Well it doesn't go anywhere, so I thought it was OK", and seems a bit miffed as she goes back out the door. A few minutes later, there are a few different car horns sounding outside, and one of our PO box holders looks out front and tells us "She just made a U-turn in the middle of the street!" After a little bit, she comes back up to the counter to buy some stamps. She says "You know, the traffic out there is HORRID!" o_O

Our local PD just reported an interesting call. They received a 911 call that the caller hit a deer. It appeared to be dead, so he loaded it in his jeep to take home. And it woke up in the jeep. He called 911 freaking out because it was trashing the jeep. The officer let the deer out, then gave the driver an OWS.

Drott, I'd like it for the weather temps. We got our outside work done yesterday and I even got a dish of ice cream. :) Can't like it for the rat race. Today and tomorrow are forecast to be the end of the warmer weather. Cold and windy after Saturday. We can keep our fingers crossed that the weather fibbers are wrong again...

If I was an OWS, what would I be? :?:

Morning 60 almost 70s today.Wish I could be at the shack doing out side work. But NO have to go to the rat race.

I suppose this would be a bad time to mention that I took a vacation day today so I could escape the rats for a 3-day weekend....

W*rk has been a H*llish experience this week. I had to be mean boss all day yesterday. But yeesh, I can only cope with so much bad judgment in one week.

There's always that one customer...Always..I used to hang out at the Post Office on a daily basis. No need now because they pick it up now at my house..Anyway they close at 4:30 and there was usually a line. We have a 2 man window even thought this town has grown so much just since I've been here.I digress. So it's 4:30 right and the clerk tells everyone to move a little forward and she begins putting the mechanized iron door down when A lady lost her mind. Apparently she didn't like the door being shut because the post office could catch fire...Um..There's an exit door right behind the clerk and all we would have to do is walk around the desk and out the door.....So now when she goes to put the door down at 4:30 she becomes like the airline stewardess and shouts out.In case of Fire you can exit through this doorway right behind the desk..Oxygen masks will fall out of the ceiling ( I just added that) Anyway people who hadn't witnessed what happened that day have no clue as to why she does that. LOL
