Our local PD just reported an interesting call. They received a 911 call that the caller hit a deer. It appeared to be dead, so he loaded it in his jeep to take home. And it woke up in the jeep. He called 911 freaking out because it was trashing the jeep. The officer let the deer out, then gave the driver an OWS.

Too funny. How does a deer play dead? He would have had to been breathing...

Good evening! Chicken pot pie is in the oven and I'm trying to get Mr. V to go wrangle ducks before dinner. The babies are now out in general population, they are doing really good. But we have to make sure they get up the ramp before the door closes for the night.

I actually went out for a bit last night! There was a 30th anniversary with the PO party for Larry, it was fun! A couple of guys that had retired came to surprise him, nice seeing them again too.

Good morning from frigid WI! The ducks are stomping around on their frozen pool, they're not really happy. I go play ice breaker in a bit.
