Hey Stretchy~ question for you.....Have you had issues with neurological problems with any of your cavaliers? More specifically, the past couple of days off and on Ruger has been leaning to the right and walks off balance with his head tilted to the right. He does not seem to be in any pain but I'm a bit worried. He's eating, drinking and seems normal otherwise. Any ideas? I'll take him in to the vet to get checked out if it doesn't stop in the next couple of days but wanted to know if any of this sounded familiar. It's not constant, but off and on with no apparent trigger. Hubby said its sympathy sickness for me, lol. It is quite strange that we would both be having balance problems though.

Good morning!

Of course now I have to go look at the Ninja coffee bar. Not that I have room on the coffee counter for it, but I have to look anyway. :)

I love mine! I can make frappuccios, iced coffee, small cup, large cup, half carafe or full carafe. You press the button for how strong you want the coffee and cup size. It automatically knows to make it super strong if you select the iced coffee or speciality drink.

Morning, all. I'm not sparkling this morning either, but TGIF!

I decided I am taking the week between Christmas and New Year's Day off. Normally things slow down here right after January 1st, but this year we are consolidating operations and adding 300k square feet to my DC. The move has to be complete by 3/31, so January through March are going to be ugly. I'm going to slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy the holidays before I have to do that. It's been hard to get into the Christmas spirit the last several years. I'm going to do it this year or die in the attempt! ;)

Yeah you might want him to see a vet. Cavaliers get Syringomyelia. It's inherited and it's extremely painful for them. Take a booklet with you. If the vet is not familiar with Cavaliers congenital malady's they may give you ear medicine for it. Really that's all it might be but better to be safe than sorry because it is painful.. and unfortunately somewhat common.
Syringomyelia

Syringomyelia (sear-IN-go-my-EEL-ya) (SM) occurs when a cavity, or syrinx, is formed inside the spinal cord from a build-up of fluid, which results from a blockage, either from a Chiari malformation, spinal trauma, tumor, or other cause. Syringomyelia can cause stretching and, eventually, permanent injury to nerve fibers.

Time off? *feels Rick for a fever* Take the time, you sure do deserve it!

We're taking time off in January, we'll be closed for about 2 weeks. It looks like we'll be putting down a wood floor while we're off. We'll have a sale starting next week. Just to make sure we're exhausted before our working vacation. Yep, we're fun that way.
