I'm pretty sure I'm coming to your house for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

As far as the Dot, I got one for my (9 year old) granddaughter because her daddy was complaining she keeps stealing his. She loves it. I'm pretty sure the NSA would need a camera to watch anyone on one...on the other hand, they're pretty techy, so maybe not. :D
It was delicious...I may do that again sometime. The thing about what I heard is they cannot transmit conversations unless given the secret word but the device would have to be listening to wake up to begin with when you say the word. The concern is.It listens to everything you say and it would be an easy wire tap...As you all know I will be going rogue if the government decides to hamper my e-cig habit...It could be problematic...

If you don't like surveillance, you pretty much have to move into a cave. I'm not overly concerned, because I'm boring. The only thing that could get me in trouble is my politics, but about that, I really don't care. I won't mention politics here though.

Tired...so tired! Typical Christmas at the Happiest Place. My crew is tired, my managers are trying to pull rabbits out of their hats. Emergencies abound. Most of them created by the same people who are screaming "emergency"! However, all my Christmas gifts are purchased, most are wrapped and delivered, and I'm pretty sure I get to bring a few smiles, so life is good. AND I am on vacation next week.

Howdy y'all.

Just another exhausting day here. Already. It doesnt help that Im still exhausted from yesterday. I was hoping that after a stressful day at work, a bit of stress relief in the gym would be a good idea. I may have been wrong. When I got home, I took a shower, and immediately fell on the bed, asleep before my head hit the pillow. The next thing I know, it's 5am, and my alarm clock is screaming at me. I dont feel like I slept at all. And now my legs are so sore, I cant walk right.

The weather isnt helping either. High of 32 on Sunday. mid 40's Monday. Low 60's Tuesday. back to the mid 40's yesterday. Mid 60's today, but dropping into the mid 20's tonight. Even for the Carolinas, these temp swings are pretty extreme.

I've got my menu planned out for Christmas dinner. Prime rib with a homemade rosemary/thyme/garlic butter (with the gravy/au jus/sauce made from the drippings), roasted potatoes (havent figured out how I want to season them though), fresh salad, and homemade yeast rolls. Mrs E is going to make me stop cooking long enough to go to church. If CJ wasnt singing Ava Maria, I wouldnt bother. And while all of that is going on, I get to pre-prep everything for the breakfast casserole for Christmas morning. Yep. Christmas Eve day will be spent in the kitchen with aching feet and another reminder that I need to go back to the chiropractor. But I think it'll be worth it.

Yep. That's it.

Now, if someone would just remind me to put in an order for more House Blend before the 31st, I'll be all set!!!

Calling on the posse. Mrs Punkin sounded like she might be interested in a bread making machine. One that does everything including cooking it. Unless the oven is a better way to go for the final stage. Thanks in advance. I know I can count on you guys for a last minute Christmas gift suggestion. :)

I use my kitchenaid to mix and knead my bread. But I do know that Sallie uses a bread maker, let me see if I can figure out which one she has. Drott uses hers to mix too, I forgot what kind it is.

Just got my order. Thank you FV! Hopefully it will last until you get back in the game. :)

punkin, most bread makers leave a hole in the bottom of the bread from the paddle. I think there is one out there with a paddle that folds. Anyhoo, that's why lots of people use any bread maker to do the mixing and rising, but then pop it into a regular pan and bake it in the oven.
