I thought a Spring cold was bad but there is something going around that is making the Kleenex suppliers happy. We caught a cold just after Christmas and it is relentless. Sorry for spreading bad cheer but it is better than spreading whatever it is we have. On a happier note: Winter is already 9 days shorter...

Happy New Years Eve! I know I'm a little early but I like being first at something... Don't drink and drive. I don't know or hang around anyone that doesn't drink so I just stay at home on New Years Eve. Cheers! See ya tomorrow...

We all made it to another year! I think I'll look around to see if I have any more of that medicinal alcohol left. It seems to be working wonders. FOUND IT. Since I'm not driving anywhere today I should be safe to take a dose a little later. I know it is probably 5:00 somewhere but a little earlier than that here.

This afternoon is football and food. Last night was movies and food.

My games blocked. Cause the ravins are playing. I wont pay extra so I'll just keep checking the score online.

Happy New Year, everybody!

I'm not watching any football games probably. I AM kind of watching the scores of all the football games though, because today determines whether I win my fantasy league or take 2nd place.

I avoided all the medicinal alcohol entirely and we went to a hockey game where I confined myself to Diet Pepsi. It was the best game I've seen in a long time, we won it in the 3rd period after coming from behind, and they did a combined fireworks/laser light show on the ice afterward. We had a lot of fun, in spite of the Indian Chick having a cold. I gave her the option of staying home, but the game seemed to perk her up.

Yeah Pittsburgh won and Philadelphia won, like that matters but at least they beat Dallas.

And it seems I won the fantasy league championship. It isn't over yet...but it's over.

The Packers play in 1/2 hour. I just got done with dinner dishes, almost time to break out the taco dip tray.
