I like it too! Means Monday is over, finally. 
Today is snow, ice, wind, and a wimpy FedEx driver that refuses to deliver my packages. He's been driving both of them back and forth from the big city to out here every day, but will NOT bring them to the hut. Ack. Yesterday Mr. V called FedEx and they promised to get him out here. Today he left a snarky message and didn't deliver them. He said he can't get up and down the driveway, but UPS came up just fine.

Liking Monday being over! Our Fedex guy left a pallet of parcels that had slid all over the back of his truck today. Looked like he didn't bother to strap them down, then took all the turns way too hard.
2 more days till a 3 day holiday weekend. Fun day at the rat race. We set on top of a hill. All ice this morning. The outfit that plows salts called yesterday to tell us he has no contract so he's not coming out anymore. Looks like someone didn't pay the bill. So driving tests were on hold till 11:00. What a way to run a business.

dislike and dislike. Our roads are an absolute disaster. Last year the town board upped our taxes to beyond the legal state limit, claiming it was necessary to keep our roads cleared. I took a pic today, let me find my phone....
Right before the hill with the stop sign at the state highway. It's hit the ditch/snowbank at the end to stop or slide out into traffic.
The weather here is nuts. Monday freezing cold. Today in the 60's and sunny. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Finally widdled down my glasses selection to two different ones. I can't decide. They're both very different. The ones I really really liked are out of stock and don't know when they'll be back in stock of course.
Apollo is like a toddler. He's in to EVERYTHING!!!! Right now his favorite things to do are get the dish towel off the handle of the fridge and chew it up or eat Morgan's note cards she uses for school vocab. I keep telling her to put them where he can't reach them but she doesn't listen. He's a 87 pound ball of mischief that has bad gas and talks a lot. His own little crazy language. He howls too. I've never thought of a boxer as a dog that howls but he does. Especially when he want's hubby's attention.
Did I tell y'all about the electric pressure cooker I got from Granny at Christmas? I love it!!! A friend told me about something called a Nu Wave oven. It looks interesting. Maybe I'll get one when I go back to work and we have some extra money. I'm all for anything that makes a meal super simple to cook.
I haven't eaten yet so time to go get the salad out and find something to watch on tv. Hope every one is good.

What a day. It snowed on top of the ice now and still no plow guy. Looks like I'll be calling the county in the morning. Our driveway looks better than all the roads around here.

Our new stove arrived, woo hoo!!!!!!! I'll have to make a point of letting the FedEx driver know that a big delivery truck made it up the drive just fine.
Zzzz time at the shack. Their calling for some kind of wintery mix tomorrow.

Happy Saturday morning, everybody! Three day weekend for me, too. Hockey was away in San Jose last night so we watched it on AHL Live. Tonight we're at home. Beer and arena food are on the menu for sure.
I got a small quad copter for Christmas and have been having a ton of fun flying it. However, it's been raining all week, and now that it cleared up, the wind is howling. Grrr. I am stuck flying it in the house. Strafing the Indian Chick is a slight consolation. It also drives Charlie and Halibut the Fish Dog nuts.
The weather can't make up it's mind whether to snow or rain or something else. Since the weather is crappy the Mrs and I decided to order take out. Hot and sour soup, California roll, orange chicken, and chicken chow mein. Delivered to the front door!
