Does that mean I don't have to go to the Grrrr store today? :)
I cancelled my stop at BJ's on the way home. There are never any close to the door parking spaces open, and I got wet enough just leaving work!

We toughed it out and went early. Turned out great. Our timing hit it right when the rain stopped and before the wind started howling. There also were less people in the store that early. :thumb: It started raining again on the way home and now it is really blowing. Oh well, quiet and dry inside and that event is over for another week...

I do usually like to go on Monday because I get out of work earlier and there are fewer people in the store. Oh well, I'll wait until the weather isn't as nasty.

Good morning. We have fog. Day after day of fog. blech. I guess I'd rather have that than rain or snow though.

I'll cheer for the Falcons in the Superbowl Drott. But darn, our teams were both craptastic. :(
Were thinking the same.. Their Q back has one hell of an arm.

I'm glad the weather liars were wrong! We are into the 2nd 3rd of Winter. Spring is on the way unless you apply the WI factor to the resulting fraction and then multiply x 2. Either way it will be fricken cold for the foreseeable future but with global warming presented by those in the know, Spring is just around the corner. Oh, and if you really want an accurate forecast, just look out the window!

Good morning! The weatherliars were wrong of course, but we did get about 4". Our January thaw is over, back to the cold over here. blech. Come on spring!

Well, I never trust my math skills, but I think 4" is less than a foot, so we will call that a win!

It's snowing again, so maybe they were right this time.

Hopefully they used the same math on this one....

Now THAT math I would trust...if I could follow it! How's that global warming working out for y'all?

Global warming...Hah!

We've had a small amount of rain but nothing like the rest of you it sounds like. And not a snowflake in sight, thankfully.

I made a run to Walmart yesterday afternoon. It was a quick trip and not too bad. Yesterday was particularly busy. We started out with an appointment for me at 10am. Then to my sister's office to pick up three trash bags full of clothes she was getting rid of the would fit me and Morgan. From there it was to pick up Granny, take her to the bank, grab some lunch, granny's haircut, run in the grocery store for her, take her home and settled and all grocery stuff put away, then to Walmart with Morgan. Got home and of course Alex hadn't done the chores. He unloaded the groceries for me and once that was all put away I had to call hubby back. Then respond to three FB messages and texts, one from a prospective new client for the virtual assistant biz. Have an online video call set up with her on Saturday. From there we went through the clothes my sister gave us. Holy carp!!! Mostly all shirts but a TON of stuff. Easily enough for three people. Morgan and I sorted and divided. Some even still had tags attached. Nice stuff. My sister has no kids, has a good paying full time job, and they recently paid off all of their bills because her husband did three rotations of civilian contracting work in Iraq and made bookoos. He's home now and they decided to buy a sleep number bed...at the bargain price of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I thought my teeth would fall out when she told me about it. No thanks. I'll keep my 15 year old mattress and holey sofa.

Today wasn't quite so busy and I didn't do as much as I probably should have but oh well. It'll all still be there tomorrow. The good news of the days is that my new glasses arrived in one piece. I got them from Zenni and they ship from China. They got stalled in a warehouse in Beijing for several days and UPS's tracking info said they were making a "recovery effort" to get them.

Hope you're all doing good!
