Ours was just a few snow squalls. A coating of blinding snow and then the sun comes out and starts to melt it. :)
We had the same here as I was going home from work about 3:15. I stopped at the grrr store for some fruit & veggies, when I came out the sun was shining. It's all very pretty!

I think all the trees in the woods behind us are going to uproot. Missed the snow got the faux hurricane.
The kitchen is coming along. The UPS guy keeps puking boxes on my porch. Mr. Crabbypants is losing his mind. He's pretty sure I spent the 401K...Not yet..but soon...
That Copper Creek Sarsaparilla is tasty.I'm enjoying it very much.Mr. C keeps saying I smell Root Beer. LOL

Tomorrow will be my giant ups delivery day. Two cookbooks for the electric pressure cooker granny had me order from amazon for her, a million teeny tiny colored rubberbands for Morgan's thingy to make bracelets with, and Avon delivery day. I can't believe she spent all the money she had saved up, $16, on rubberbands.

My first day back to work went fine. I'm wiped out though. Took me almost 2 hours just to prep the irishdoodle. He was extremely matted and pushed and pulled against me the whole time. My back and head were soaking wet from sweat by the time I got him bathed. I got to sit down for about 30 minutes before I had to get up and finish him. Here's his "before" and "in the middle of the groom", and "after" pics. He hasn't been groomed since I did him last JULY! [emoji50] In the second pic you can see he was so matted that the hair was coming off in one sheet. That's hair hanging from his belly and neck still attached to his skin. And of course the owner was not happy when I told her he had to be completely shaved, face and all. Learn how to pick up a brush or get him groomed more than twice a year. She's getting off easy at $70 too.

Time to cook dinner. pizza bread for everyone but me. I'm going to eat that long awaited baked sweet potato since I didn't get to eat the one from last week because Apollo got it off the counter and ate half of it.

I used to have a standard poodle right before we left VA. I got him groomed whenever he started looking a bit shaggy. He loved it! He would come home and prance around, he knew he looked good!

This week will be a rough one, there was a bout of the "blue flu" today. :( 3 people called out. No clue what tomorrow will bring...

Yikes! I'll keep my fingers crossed you don't get it, Bamrz.

Me too.

That looks like a much happier dog Tiff! I'll never understand why people get hairy dogs then don't groom them. It makes no sense. When we had the Pyr, it was a nightly thing to keep him brushed out. The only thing he gave me grief over was his nails. For that fun task one person had to lay on him while the other cut his nails. Victor likes being brushed. He sits in the bathroom and waits his turn when I straighten my dreads in the morning. As soon as I am done I have to brush him a bit or he's sad. He's an odd one.

I decided to do what FV suggested yesterday. I'm taking the day off and doing nothing! Oh, wait, that's my normal job. Dang it then I'm going to do something. A trip to the liquor store and another to the beer distributor. Can't just sit around and do nothing...
