Good morning for some and good afternoon to the rest...

I was outside in short sleeves and no hat on my bald head just to soak up some vitamin D. It is fricken 60 degrees outside! How long will it last you may ask? Let's just say it is probably 59 already on its way down to, you guessed it, snow by morning. The weather fibbers say 6-8 inches before lunch with a blustery day to boot. I'm going to filibuster until I get what I want, more like 1-3 and they can keep the wind. :)

Mrs Punkin is making something I haven't had for a long time. Some sort of home made corn chowder with potatoes and BACON and celery and corn and onions and butter and milk and.... Did I mention bacon?
Oh my ex made a delicious version of that! I hadn't thought about it for years, now of course I'll have to try to make some.

I heard the word bacon, so here I am. :)

Stretchy, I love the fixture.

I'm making baked fish tonight. And brussel sprouts.
That's way toooo healthy for me and it doesn't have bacon right?
You're suppose to guess what he said while he was putting it up...It went something like this..Sh&% where did you find this blankety blank blank..For 45 minutes..I'm going to go fry some bacon...

Sorry for not asking Stretch, I just assumed it was very similar to what Mr. V said while wrestling the range hood.

No bacon with the fish, so it was super boring. I'll give it a bacon blanket next time. Tonight is taco salad.

Punkin, I have to filibuster cold over here. Last night was -25 with wind chills.

Holy carp! -25 means us guys can't even go outside to take a leak, just saying...

OK Mrs Punkin gave me a scribbled piece of paper with a receipt for the corn chowder:

3/4 lb. BACON - cut into small pieces
5 stalks of celery - chopped
1 sweet onion - chopped
2 bags (14.4 oz) of frozen corn
1 lb. of small potatoes
1/2 gal milk
1/8 stick of real butter

Brown and cook BACON, celery, and onions.
Remove celery and onions and finish browning BACON. Set aside.
Cook (boil) frozen corn and drain. Set aside.
Cook (boil) potatoes. Set aside.

Dice potatoes and add to big pot with all the other ingredients that were set aside earlier.
Add milk, butter, and pepper to taste and simmer until hot and ready to serve.

P.S. (Punkin's Script) At your discretion: Add more BACON, more butter, more potatoes, more corn, less milk, and take it easy on the celery!
