I need a dentist. Mine charged me $1750 for that root canal and crown. It failed 2 weeks later, when I called he was on vacation. I painfully waited for my appointment, and he retired the day before it. So I paid someone else to pull the jagged remains. So, having a tooth pulled that I didn't want pulled cost me over $1800. And that guy broke the tooth next to it, so I still have a mess. :-x

What a nice day here today! I think I'm going home early.
Don;t get too comfortable going home early.Me thinks ProVape may have jumped the shark too soon...I see the vaping industry on the upswing. No I don't have a Crystal Ball...Well actually I do but it gathers dust mainly...No, the information I have is far more reliable even though the Crystal Ball I have predicted the demise of the Hindenburg and the Kennedy Assassination. At least that's what the lady from the flea market said ..No...I just realized. I'm stocked up for the next ten years..Seriously seriously stocked up...I could support my own vape shop so naturally the Apocalypse will not be happening. At least for the next 10 years. It's a good thing though I still can't wrap a coil but I do have enough wire to rewire the house..

Relax...I've got this.. I do see the Vaping industry surviving.I wouldn't have in December. Those 2 Congressman will get it through. We may have to pay more in taxes for the privilege of not smoking but it won't kill the industry itself.I have a lot of faith in that because I'm sitting here in middle America with more vaping carp than Fast Tech in China....Some that I have no clue as to their function. I would be prepared to close in June. That just makes sense. But be just as prepared to stay open. I'll bet even ProVape is playing the waiting game behind the scenes to see what happens. He can always restart.
I am so done with hut work...So we have he flooring in the dining area down.In fact the dining area is complete except for a small piece of flooring that we need to replace...The kitchen still needs backsplash, sink, and counters. So what does Mr. Crabbypants do? He brings home a BEAUTIFUL floor tile from a person he helps to maintain a summer lake house here in Nevernear.Yeah they're redoing the kitchen....So now I want that instead of what we bought...Why would he do that? Obviously he likes it but why cause trouble? So today I'm hunting it down and pressing my will. It's his fault.
On a really fun note. Our older Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the 2016 number 1 AKC Agility champ for that breed in the nation.Poised to be the number 1 in 2017. Yeah AND he's 11 years old. Most Cavaliers are dead by then. They aren't long lived dogs.
and... it's 62 degrees here...

Egads Stretchy, if I changed my mind on one single thing at this point Mr. V would kill me. Our kitchen floor is down and there are cabinets on one wall. I still have not chosen nor ordered our counters, so the one wall that is done has plywood on top. I'll look and see if I have a pic on this computer of where we are at. I'm counting on you to post what yours is looking like right now so I don't feel so alone in the construction nightmare.

Oh! I have one drawer pull on.

Here we go. This was the dining room, we decided that it should really be the kitchen, because the original kitchen is actually the size of a freaking closet. We had already changed the big window to a better size.
The nightmare as we started:

Of course I decided that we needed another window, and that the new light fixture wasn't going to cut it. The new fixture is still in a box, along with the sink. And the window is hanging out in the living room waiting for a warmish day. The range hood is stainless, but I'm waiting to peel that plastic stuff off until we do the crown moldings.
The picture I just took:

Wow, what a transformation. That is beautiful!

And good Saturday morning everyone. I am back from the (nearly) dead. That stupid cold or flu or whatever it was kicked me around for a week. I took one day off work then went back for the rest of the week, but I was hitting on about two cylinders. The DC consolidation is an ongoing nightmare. The contractors are behind schedule and being pressured and tactfully threatened. My crew has stepped up and we are being held up by the contractors. I have been able to enjoy telling all my team how happy I am with their progress and how proud I am of their hard work. That's been the bright spot in an otherwise carp week.

FV, I kind of agree with Stretchy on this one, and no one ever accused me of being an incurable optimist. I can certainly understand playing it safe, but be prepared for a pull-back to a more sane position. I think vapers have enough muscle and enough friends in Congress these days to pull it off.

Happy Saturday Rick! I'm glad you survived the hideous disease. And that you are maintaining your sanity during the consolidation. What trying times, blech.

Thanks for the kind words, I have fun doing this stuff. Hopefully the buyer of this one will love what I've chosen for it.

I agree with you and am cautiously optimistic. I'm lining up the next hut to work on just in case.

Dunging out the chicken coop. Ducks have it one hell of a mess. They left on the 7th. The chicks are much happier the coop will be much cleaner and easer to keep after. Loved my ducks but the 6 of them were getting to be too much for me to keep up with. Maybe after I retire again.:lol: For now though I'll just admire other peoples Ducks.

Pumpkin warm enough to get some shooting in. Been routing through my desk trying to find my card to Anglers and Hunters but it's seams to be in safe keeping.:lol:
Like the warm part, not the hide and seek card part.
