I got a copper pegasus Clone in the mail today...very excited! This is my first mech mod. I unboxed it and checked it out and it all looks good except for the bottom, firing switch screw. I noticed that it's crooked when I screw it in and I'm concerned that it wont push flush to the battery, thereby decreasing conductivity, performance etc. Any ideas on how to fix this without messing up the threads on the screw etc?

Just to be clear, it's the screw itself that seems to be bent.

Thanks for your help, Joey.

Welcome,
If you used a reputable vendor, contact them and explain the problem.
If it's FT, well... ya know... you GOT what you paid for.

Take the screw to Ace, Depot, Lowes for a match.

Good luck

If I planned on getting a new screw anyway, then I would probably try and lay it on something hard and flat and tap that thing with a hammer to see if it would straighten out. Copper is pretty soft so it should move some. If you mess it up o well since you plan on getting another screw anyway right??
