Hello folks,

I bought this tank from this conversation... Looking for options for a new tank

I can't get the dam thing to stop dripping out juice out of the air holes on the sides (which when i first got it was adjustable, now it's stuck half opened/closed. was sort of working but the band was always oily with ejuice... rebuilt it twice today with both the mini tank and full sized tank and it just drips out all over my mod.

and I think I killed my Jak, keep getting an error to check atomizer short, switched the tank from my provari (kayfun 2 lite clone) that works on the Provari, and works on my desktop tester...put it on the Jak...check atomizer short message...put it back on the provari works fine

I'm going to agree that there is probably something going on with that particular tank. Even I can't get my Hussar clone to leak very much, and I am very, very talented in doing so with many RTAs. That's unfortunate about the Jac, hopefully you can dry it out. I have quickly learned to use my IPV-5 beater mod for testing out my rebuildable tanks, because I've had few very unfortunate events where the tank just poured juice out everywhere. For me, it's probably wicking, but the Hussar seemed rather leak proof to me, and it's still one of the few RTAs I think I've coiled and wicked correctly. The one thing I remember doing was making sure that my spaced coil was high enough in the tank, and also completely crossing the air channels so the wick would block it....

I hope you find the solution, and good luck with BOTH the tank and mod. Sorry to hear of this experience.

Anna

LOL...yeah my gambling mojo isn't so good... I will just be happy when the new Jac shows up. Makes me wish I got the Aegis... it probably would still be running since it's supposed to be water proof...

Mine either so I only try it when the pot is huge.

And you can never have to many mods so the Aegis is still out there.... unnecessary enabling ;)

still going back and forth with fasttech... i sent a video showing the leaking and that the air adjustment is stuck half way... they email me back and say they are sending new orings... i emailed them friday and this morning. Got a kayfun 5 clone off ebay and it's not bad. I wish it had a poly cylinder like the kayfun lite 2 instead of glass... i like the drop protection.
