I received one too and it was in very poor shape, however, it wasn't from the shipping. It seemed packed well enough for me. It came in a Vhs box with instructions on the vhs box. It was taped inside the Vhs box to keep it from rolling around and was wrapped and this was all inside a padded envelope.

So the shipping protection was good to me, however, the unit had a lot of scratches on it. The end cap where you insert the batteries also had a big gouge in it as though the machine ground to a stop as it was being turned or had been clamped and turned in a clamp leaving the gouge. The atomizer end cap was also misaligned slightly and when turned down tight, had a gap on one side between the cap and body, as though the threads were not put on pararell to the cap.

You could also see in the body,a couple of pit like indentations that indicate the base stock had dents in it and when turned down to produce a smooth finish, was not turned down far enough to remove the dents, leaving what i would describe as pits. Also, you can see where the lathe chuck's three teeth left slight impressions in the body where it was clamped down. Overall, i was disappointed in the fit and finish of the product especially given the price.

So sorry dear Beannie for this, some mistakes happen not to the production but for other reasons. I want to eliminate them because I dont like complains at all. You know that I want only very very happy customers.

I wi9ll explain without exuses the issue.

When you start making a product, you see carefully what is the best you can do.
After that (if you want to keep the same filosofy, as me), you try to make it better.
Sometimes the circumstanses make you a little butterfingered. I will tell you one. Tim was pushing me to make more GGs. I wanted the same as Tim and I was pushing myself to make more, so 1 batch of 5 GGs has a surface witch is not the best one but not bad.
I decide with Tim that no GG will leave from my hands anymore without looking the smallest detail. Its useless not to take care because its better to have a delayed customer thatn an unsatisfied one. So we stop preorders because if we are out of time we will have complains.
Thats the reason for the Trans is so delayed. I will check every one by my hands.

Its of course the 1 batch and I want to be perfect, the next ones will be on time, we are in the start making a new product and if you change one thing to a product, all the others are changing too. So I must take care of everything.

Thanks for your post, it makes me feel more and more responsible for the GG. If you want of course to send it back for the best finish, no problem, I am here to make you happy:):)

I can certainly understand someone being disappointed to open the package and find their new GG with a few marks or scratches. But with the amount of use it's going to get, it's just a matter of time before it has them anyway - no matter how well it's cared for. Personally, I like the hand made, well loved look. Gives it character.

I like the same Suzi, its nice to know that 2 hands made the whole thing and you are proud to keep a thing like this and not a shiny factory without a "face" product. But many others dont like it that way, I understand them, so I give them the choice to send it back. As I said I am very pitty if one man/woman is not completely satisfied with GG. I hate this feeling and I will do my best to make him satisfy:)

Hands make mistakes because you are in a hurry, because you cant do it in another way, because you like it that way, etc. So I gave them to a machine now but still I am assembling them, so its remains a hand made product with the machine to support me

Sakiss,
as always you are the consumate customer satisfaction provider,
you work too hard, with too long hours,
just to try to keep us all happy,
we do appreciate all your hard work,
and extra efforts for us,
even if it may sound like we are ungrateful sometimes.

Remember to take time for yourself,
to rest, and sleep properly,
a few extra days will do you some good,
and us no harm to wait.

The point of the GG's case (VHS box) is supposed to do just that: protect it from scratches. On top of that we individually wrap each GG to protect it from scratches within the box. It ain't pretty but it serves a purpose to protect the GG and provide some form of presentation/information.

It would be a hell of a lot quicker/easier for us to just wrap it in bubble wrap, but we thought the movie theme was quite a nice idea and definitely provides protection..... what do people do with their fancy presentation boxes anyway? I know mine end up in the trash within a week....

Don't worry, just let me know when you place an order and we'll ensure to wrap it in the finest bubble wrap money can buy...;)

Can you put Air shocks on mine when I order??

My immortal friend - hurry up and invent the GG Teleporter so you can service each GG in person - and don't tell me it's impossible... :p

We are the same: we both want to give people what they want and make people happy to help them quit analogues. :)
