Welcome!!!! I'm new here too, and I have learned so much!!!! I've been vapping for a little over a month, and since my eGo arrived, I have taken 3 drags off a cigarette, and it almost made me toss my cookies! (YUCK) For me, and I can be a little bit of an airhead, there was quite a bit of trial and error. But I do feel as if I'm getting it, slowly but surely. There was also an adjustment period switching cigarettes to my eGo that I didn't think would happen. I still felt the need to go outside and smoke, I kind of missed that. As well as the other little habits you develop as a smoker, but I didn't have the nicotine withdrawal as if I was 'quitting'. (Lucky for my family) But now I'm very happy vapping on my couch! Bahahahaaa. Anyway, sorry for the rambling... just wanted to wish you and your wife the best of luck, enjoy your new hobby, and happy vapping! :)

Slow down. All these vendors usually deliver in 3-4 days. Order 2 weeks supply of juice until you know what you like and what strength you need, then go crazy with the e-juice flavors. Taste is so subjective and vapor nicotine tolerance varies too. The way you vape might not be the way you smoked. Mentol smokers don't always like menthol ejuice, nonmenthol smokers can love menthol e-juice.

That's a very good point. Also, you may want to tweak your nicotine levels.

I have no idea where I'm at
Wuzznt Me, I cant post a link, but there is a pretty interesting compatibility chart on Wiki. I found out about ECF while looking for a comparison chart. There are some really informative guides in the ECF library that I found super informative.

I worried about the start up cost too, thought I was spending way too much, but in the long run, both health and packetbook are going to be really happy I switched from analogues.

I hope you're right about the 3-4 days Juicejunky. We don't get mail delivery where we live though. Got to go to the P.O. to pick it up. The Pony Express used to run through here but they switched to two wheel drive vehicles lol. It usually takes a couple of days longer for normal mail to get to the P.O. here than in town. You're absoultly right though, I do need to slow down. The flea market in Daytona has a booth there so we're going to go just look tomorrow.

I live in Ormond Beach, and have gone to the flea market NUMEROUS times when I've ordered something online, and either it was the wrong thing, or I didn't know what I was doing. The guy that runs the booth seems like he knows what he's doing, the e-juice selection isn't the best, but he can always order higher Nic levels if you need it... I like 24MG or higher. :) Don't be afraid to ask questions!

The upside to that is you'll never have to worry about steeping juices, they'll steep getting to you.

Take pictures of what they are selling hardware wise and maybe we can help you figure out what it is.

I live about 25 miles southwest of the flea market. Glad to hear from someone who's been there and has something positive to say about it. I think the highest he carries, at least on his website, is 16mg. But if you're out or need an atty...... I've never actually been in there but been by it a lot. I'll probably ask him a few but this forum is my main source of info. I'm like into a whole new world I didn't know existed until 3 days ago.

I smoke about 1 min to 2 max packs of analogs a day (actually a pouch I roll myself)

after 26 years of flying RC model airplanes.

If it will get my wife and myself off cigarretes I'd never be able to put a price on that knobbysmoo. She has C.O.P.D. and had problems with anesthesia from surgery last year. Even so this is the first time she has ever expressed much interest in stopping. Thanks for your reply and encouragement.

Since you rolled your own analogs and are a hobbyist you might want to look into DIY juice. If my calculations were correct on what I was spending on analogs and how much juice I'm expecting to use per month, mixing my own juice is going to save me a ridiculous amount of cash.

Wuzznt,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I just went to google and typed in e-cig compatability and found one from wiki. later I found a link somewhere on ECF, but I have read too much by now to remember. I am going to try and put the link here:

Brand and Model Compatibility Chart - E-Cigarette Wiki

Hope that helps. It helped me a lot when trying to figure out what acc I could by and what fit.
