Cotton probelms :/

So, because I've heard so much love for cotton, I bought a bag. I got it for $2.15 at rite aid, and it said "For babies, family etc." so I assumed it wouldn't be bad, but it tasted horrifying. I boiled it, dried it, so bad that it ruined the juice I had in my rsst. Although the vape clouds were huge, it was seriously one of the worst tastes ever. I can't get them to get all the way dry after that boil either, so I'm super confused as to what I did wrong. Is it really just the "Non organic" cotton tasting like dookie, or is there something I should've done, didn't do right? Any help would be awesome!

Some cotton balls have harsh chemicals in them from the bleaching process, and the taste from these chemicals can even survive boiling. I've had great success with the Maxim Hygiene Products Organic Cotton Balls, which you can probably find at your local Walgreen drugstore, but if not, they are available from Amazon.

Here was my first experience with cotton.

Made some coils and wicked with organic cotton balls from CVS. They did have a taste that I did not like. I picked up some Sugar & Cream from Hobby Lobby and rebuilt all of my coils with the proper number of strands for my coils (2 different sizes) and have been vaping on them for 2 days. The Sugar and Cream will by what I use from this point forward.

I did boil some of the organic bottom ball and let them dry on paper towels but I have not used so I can tell if the taste is gone.

Both of them were easy to install and I did not have leakage or dry burns with either of them.

good luck
