Has anyone tried replacing the silicone wick in an Iclear 16? If so, did you use cotton yarn or form your own wick from cotton? How were your results? It seems that the yarn would be easier.
I have been using cotton in my bcc's and much prefer the flavor. But I also like the Iclear and am pondering replacing those wicks with cotton.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Haven't tried cotton wicks
but if you cut in half the wicks in the Iclear 16
Then wrap the wicks (around them) with string from a tea bag
you have left ... the making of a Iclear 30 S... except no metal tube wrapped around wicks...
and you can rebuild the coils... gulp!
but now your Iclear 16 can hold MUCH more fuel (e-liquid) because there are no extra wicking material
taking up all the room...
but just... like before .... gravity still says
you have to tilt the Iclear 16 upside down every now and then... but instantly... the e-juice gets to
the wicks and COILS... and the Vapor clouds ROLL and the TASTES are magnificent..
almost like dripping directly... time after time after time...

I know this has been in here for a few days but could u elaborate a little bit? I have like 5 iclear 16's and I'm up for making them better!
So I get cut the wicks in half but I'm getting a little bit lost with the using the string from a tea bag and wrap around part. Am I using the wicks that are remaining with the piece that I cut?

I'm sorry...I know I know it probably seems obvious but for us slow people.... :p
