Hi there! I am very new to vaping, so my knowledge of it all is very bleak so pls bear with me.

i just got my first ecig, BLu, 6 days ago. (I have read about many who don't like the Blu ecigs for diff reasons but I do like it so far but thats a diff thread. :2cool:)

So I got my Blu 6 days ago. I smoked an analog cig or two for a couple days after vaping. I have not smoked an analog in three days. I know thats not long at all, but all the sudden as of yesterday, I started feeling tired and shaky and a little irritable. I am wondering could it be analog cig withdraws? Like withdraws from all the tar and extra chemicals in in analogs? Or could it be the straight nicotine I am taking in and Im just not used to it? Or am I vaping too much? I don't have "vaping sessions". I just pick it up and take a couple pulls ever so often. Sometimes I vape a lot at once and sometimes I leave it alone for an hr or so. All in all I used to somke 10-12 reg cigs a day. Now I am vaping one cart a day of Vivid Vanilla 12 mg. Am I vaping too much or am I haveing withdraws? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It does sound like it could be a bit of withdrawl. Check in the health forums, there's a lot of information there that may answer your questions. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...3305-list-common-symptoms-when-e-smoking.html and http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ing-your-symptoms-while-adjusting-vaping.html might help you.

I personally thing the Blu is just fine, especially for a light smoker. I was a heavy smoker and use a Volcano as my second PV, 510 or box mods as my first go to device. If you can work around the small cart and short battery life, they are actually a nice little PV.

Good luck and I hope those links help.

It could be withdrawal yes - try upping your nic intake a little (dont go crazy lol) and see if it helps. 12mg is quite low to start off with - unless you were a very occasional smoker. I started on 24mg (I smoked ultralights) which i found too high (nic buzzzzz lol) and then dropped to 18mg for a while; now Im on 12mg but thats after the cravings went away.
If it doesnt help upping your nic then you might benefit from smokeless tobacco (see the sub forum on this board) like swedish snus to supplement the vaping - as long as youre not also still smoking.

your body might be sensative to PG. If you want to try dripping an old Blue cart with VG instead of PG you can easily do it.

All you need to do is take a pair of small tweezers or a paperclip and pull out the little plastic sleeve in the black cart that has filler in it. You could then take the filler out and squeeze it in some papertowel. Scrape off the bits of foil around the edge of the sleeve and put the filler back in. Then drip about five drops of some VG juice into the filler and place the cart back on and try it.

Blue was my first e-cig. Good little devices but batt life was an issue for me and drove me to the bigger Pvs and eventually 6 volt.

Good luck

What is the difference between PG and VG?

PG=propylene glycol
VG=vegetable glycerin

The VG should be better for people with allergies or PG sensativity.

It produces much more vapor than PG, but tends to load (gunk) up my atomizers faster because of the thickness.

I've found that since I've stopped smoking, I vape about twice as much.

For me, it's the convenience and endless flavors that make it so enjoyable (almost too much).

I would smoke a pack and a half a day and while at work, I would be productive for a couple hours, then sneak off for a smoke, then get back to work.

With vaping, I can sit in my office and vape all day.

Much more productive at work but blasting through much more nicotine-LOL!

I just need to learn to vape when I get a craving!

SEE! Damn it! I'm dragging off my passthru while I'm typing this-LOL!
