Could some of my wicks be too short?

I've been using LR901 atomizers. Some of them work wonderfully, never get a burnt taste but others seem to give me that burnt taste as tho they are dry. I notice too that my liquid isn't getting used up.

If this is the problem what would you'll suggest I do?

I wonder sometimes if the height of the atty bridge varies on some atomizers, affecting the contact with the filler in the cart. Measuring to the top of the bridge could be a telling experiment, since you have some that are not wicking. Below is a link to rebuilding an atty that shows the exposed parts of an atomizer and is self explanatory about how the wick relates to the bridge and coil.

If dripping 2 or 3 drops on the bridge restores good taste and vapor, the cart is probably not touching the atty bridge enough to transfer juice.
