Could vaping POSSIBLY be worse?

I wonder if we are doing ourselves in. We are sending petitions to the White House (yes, I signed), we are talking about how we would break laws if there was a ban, we are stockpiling, discussing DIY. We are making noise. Big Brother don't like noise. If we stay on this forum, leave Big Brother out of this, cross the bridge when we get to it, not threaten to go back to analogs if there is a ban! If we learn to DIY, make our own mods (that explode, I am all thumbs when it comes to electronics), we may end up putting vendors out of business, or making an issue out of a non-issue. There may not be a ban or anything in April. Maybe a study. Who knows. Lets let the sales speak for themselves. Sorry if it seems like I am rambling. I am listening to Hubby babble and trying to type at the same time.

Mine's a flashlight. It just has the same screw in socket as my tank :) It's repurposed! I have a soldering iron, an led, some wire, solder, and some resistors.

Point being, unless they outlaw all the components used to make a PV, not to mention all the other devices that can be derived from their components, the devices themselves fall into the paraphernalia category. No worries in the DIY category for the devices, even the atomizers, as they can be called an electric match. It's only a heating element.

I know this is a little off topic, but it's true we may or may not have to cross that bridge when we get there.

We have legitimate concerns and there's a 99% chance that we're right about ecigs. We don't want to die. If we go off half cocked occasionally I think that a reasonable person would understand. But depending on which way the political winds are blowing who knows.
It can't be a coincidence that virtually every human being that's ever picked up an ecig feels better than when they smoked. That is enough anecdotal evidence to make any scientist at least a little bit impressed.
A drug was developed in the 50's to treat TB. When they gave everyone in the hospital the drug they noticed after a week or so that peoples mood improved. That drug is still in use as an antidepressant. They had anecdotal evidence they studied it further. That's how change happens sometimes.

I felt the effects immediately! A burst of energy, had a heck of a time sleeping at first, now I sleep like a baby! I am down to 6mg nic (maybe a little less since I water my juice). I don't feel like I could kill someone if I don't get a vape break, which makes me more productive and cheerful at work. But as a former smoker, whatever bans were passed, I grudgingly obliged. I lived in Chicago where you cannot smoke within 50 feet of a door to a business without getting smacked with a huge fine. Not even a week before the ban went into effect, I was laid off from my bartending job because I was a smoker. But I obliged. Now I consider myself a nonsmoker, I don't believe smoking laws apply to me, at the same time, I do not have the same needs or accommodations as a smoker. So no, vaping is NOT worse! But maybe it is better to fly either under the radar, or safety in numbers.
