Hi guys I've been outta the vape game since october or so.

I got regular ego 510 unit. So far I've only been dripping with it.

I was looking into getting a tank, I did a search and it didnt turn out well I think you guys know how search functions are on forums.

If you guys could recommend a tank for me id appreciate it. And I use a cartomizers with those right?

And another thing, could you guys recommend a nice RY4? Ive found some info on that on this site and was just wondering if their was anything new out.

The only RY4 ive tried is Liberty Flights and it was pretty good, Id like to try others though.

I REALLY appreciate all the help guys.

LR boges work well on my ego, can be used with a mom and pop vapor shop mini sub tank, you can get single coil 1.7 ohm replacement for the Smoktech dual coil tank which will work on the ego pretty well the duals coils wont work well tho.

+1 on that. I also have an ego battery which i use mom and pop mini sub, they are easy to refill due to the "screw" and also for bleeding air into tanks when the juice are half way. I use either boge LRs or Kanger. I also slot my cartos. Here is the link for mom and pops mini-sub. Tanks - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop
Here is the link for kanger: Kanger 510 Cartomizer - 5 Pack

Hope this helps. :vapor:

madvapes DCT in delrin or Polsihed Chrome for less than $12. Here you go Dual Coil 510 Chrome Tank Cartomizer, 3.5ml

If you use Smoketech DCT , great, if you use boges then you will need to cut the tank, which is what I do. For the ego I recommend smaller tanks 2.5 or 3.5 ml because the 5ml will look awkwards and make the Ego too top heavy

What is the actual benefit of these things? Do carts last longer? Do you get better flavor longer?

The reason I am asking is because I know tanks are good for not having to refill the carto...but I change flavors so much I cant imagine vaping 5mls of a flavor in a row...and I if I do want to change a flavor...it looks like a pain in the .... I cant afford to get 5 tanks for 5 separate flavors I might vape in a day.

So what are the other benefits of these things?

In your case , Probably none, U could probably make do on an atty and just drip, I also vape 5 flavors a day and did get tanks for all of them, I actually have 9 tanks full and ready all the time, I only need to refill every 3-4 days , to me it makes it worth it plus the life of the carto seems to be much better for me with the juice on it all the time, Back to back hits, No problem, to me it has a lot of advantages. $8.99-$12.99 for a delrin DCT tank seems like a good deal to me.

I don't use a syringe to fill mine. It's a choice you have to make if it's difficult to get the tank filled. I slide the tank up on the carto until the top of the carto is just barely below the top cap. I canter in a little diagonally, the squirt the juice in through the gap. Then slide the carto back up to it's functional position.

Thanks I have taken a look at those.

Do you guys have any cartos you would recommend for it?

And when I need a needle syringe to fill those?

No needle like dougiestyle said, just slide the tank of the carto until there is enough of a gap between the top cap and the carto , tilt to about 45 degrees, and put the bottle tip right against the top of the tank, it will naturally fall to the side of the carto, there are a lot of videos on youtube for this, also carto wise it is a matter of taste ,m I love the boge cartos but they are shorter so you will need to cut the tank, which I do. maybe the resurrectors or smoktek dual coil would be a better idea if you don't want to cut the tank.
