Bought it purely for the cool carbon fiber look and to have another "beater" mod for work.

This is an awesome piece! I can't tell if it's real carbon fiber or not but that's a good thing. It means it looks really good. The only branding is on the button which is also awesome because I can polish it off.

The copper top cap is clear coated which surprised me. It's an extra step in quality that you normally don't see with clones. The threads, despite the reviews are perfect. The button is spring loaded and soft but so smooth. It sits ever so slightly recessed but is equipped with a lock ring for extra security.

Floating top pin with secondary adjustment screw that actually works well.

I buffed everything out with flitz and it's just a very cool looking mod. I broke it down and cleaned it with dish soap but it was clean from the factory.

There is only two little complaints, the plastic that holds the floating top pin is a little rough looking but works great. You don't see it anyway. Before they clear coated the top cap, there are some in un-uniform sanding marks but again you don't see them.

It's $40 at 101 vape. It's a great deal for a full copper mod. It's so nice in fact I think I may need a different 18650 beater mod lol, don't wasn't to damage this one.

Hmm...title lead me to believe you got a legit paragon but it turn out to be a "counterfeit" one...in the Mech mod world, they are called clones to be "PC".

I usually head over the hardware store and look for replacement spring or find one that is equivalent and cut it to size. Soft springs can be danger if you ever get hot button and it collapses on you...or you can get measuring caliper and talk to online magnet store to see if magnet upgrade is possible.

But congrats on your purchase.

I call it counterfeit because it has the logos of the legit product. A clone to me would just copy the design. Like my sub mariner clone watch by Invicta. Looks identical to a Rolex but has Invicta branding. Semantics.

Magnets wouldn't be an upgrade on this particular mod, the throw is very short and to stack three washer magnets into the switch would not allow enough space to collapse and make contact, two would work but would make the button too light.

Thank you for the reply and suggestion.
