Only been at this for about 3 weeks...just got a bunch of new juice in various flavors. I am using a Riva 901.....started to notice that all the juices tasted the same and that taste was bad!!! Hard to describe but was kind of a dirty bitter taste no matter the flavor. I switched to a new atomizer and the nasty taste is almost all gone....so heres the question......

How do you or what is the best way to clean my atomizer? I searched and found a few references but nothing definitive as far as method of cleaning.....only have one spare and am trying not to ruin the nasty one.....

Question 2.....when I put in the new atomizer, it has LR printed on it where as the nasty one does not...what does the LR mean?

Sorry for the dumb questions....thanks for any help....BFB

Not dumb questions at all. First get yourself more attys and try to use one for each flavor cleaning is a hassle and I personally have not had much luck with cleaning them and using a different flavor juice. I do group them and use different juice but I keep the tobacco separate from any sweet or menthol juice. The LR means that it is a low resistance atty. I am sure that you will get a lot more tips and help with this thread.

Ok...gonna try and help you a bit here.
LR are low resistance attys. They simulate high voltage vaping so to say.
They are better for dripping because they give more flavour, vapor...well a better experience but may die soon.
As for having an atty for each juice....been 3 months with 1 only and it still vapes like the first day i had it (they are 510).
For cleaning (i clean mine once a week) i do like this:
1 glass with some rubbing alchool, throw the atty in there and leave it overnight.
Next day is the real cleaning job, that i call as the blow.......job! get it?
Grab the atty and blow on it until the alchool gets out...when it does, i put more alchool in and do it again.
I do this until i see all clean there (even the wick).
Next it's time for a dry burn.
Screw the atty on a fresh battery and press the button for 5sec and release.
Do this until the resistance lights up almost instantly. and ready to go!

You can also use vodka instead of rubbing alchool.

Also one other thing, if the vendor is different the liquids are also. So you may have residual tasting from the mix itself.
And also, get at least one more atty so you always have spares.
