Cracked tank mod

I am new to vaping, only been at it 2 weeks, and today I purchased some spare tubing for my jtank and added millenium milkshake and the tank cracked less than an hour later. My question is this, did the pineapple flavoring in the liquid crack the tank or could it be a piece of bad tubing? I am using an e-go t with a lr carto and jtank The flavor is great and would hate to not be able to use it in my tank. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

I know that some acidic flavors can crack some tanks, also cinnamon is a real 'tank cracker' as far as flavors go... I'm not positive that pineapple is terribly acidic though.

I have tried several flavors in two other tanks with lr carts on an inferno and I've not had any cracking issues whatsoever...

Could've been bad plastic maybe?

Agree with macguy, although for it to crack in about an hour seems really fast even if the juice was the cause of the problem. Contact the vender and let them know the kind of juice that you used, they should know what kind of juices play nice with the tanks and can possibly send out a replacement tube if they never heard of pineapple cracking tanks.

Wow interesting link- that list in red. And good to know. I was planning to get a carto tank - I got some Virgin Vapor mixed berry and ice cream flavors and a cherry and marshmallow which hopefully will be OK. I think I will keep the Vanilla Chai latte out of the tank (Chai can have cinnamon, nutmeg, etc).

Citrus and some spices and some nut flavorings are often oil-based

I haven't cracked one yet knock on wood, but I have caramel kona cream in one and peanut butter cup in the other I have a hand full of home made syringe tanks for my iffy flavors nothing cracks those but it makes me wonder if my redhots if leaching the plastic

If someone would post to the possible cracking list Zombie Juice Millenium Milkshake. I am not allowed to post or reply to that forum yet. Thanks for the info I am going to call the shop I bought the juice from and let them know what happened just so they can warn other customers.
