Got my box. No custards this month :(

I recieved:

dna Vapor Key Lime Pie
Mojo Vapor Kook's Coffee
R&D Creations Trickz
Craft Tester Every Little Thing

Nervous about the Kook's Coffee. I yummed coffee but was specific that I prefer subtle coffee in a secondary flavor role (I have an aversion to coffee after a horrible food poisoning incident when I was 15), and this is a full on coffee vape. They all smell amazing though.

Box arrived. Two of them I requested. Chris was my curator this month.

Boosted - Boosted - Strawberry Cream
Lee & Quids - P.O.C. - Peach, Orange, and Cranberries
Royal Crest - Lady Caramel - Caramel Butterscotch
craft vapery - Hello Goodbye - Cream-filled frosted cupcake with orange zest ( Chris described it as a Hostess orange cupcake )

I haven't tried mine yet (did a big juice order, for me anyway, all at the same time, and they all came around the same time!), but I'm excited to!

Draco Vapors - Sweet Sauce (a custard)
South Bay - Point Fermin (peanut butter cup)
Nude Nicotine - Shirley Temple
Craft Vapery - Every Little Thing

I didn't know NN was part of the CV lineup - I've heard nothing but good things about their juice so that in itself for me makes the box worth it. I love custards, and the bottle of Draco is a 30ml, so Alisa1970 is a happy camper. I also bought 2 bottles of Vapor LV Hard Ten since I liked it so much in one of my boxes. Been vaping that only for the last 24 hours. :)

Anybody else's tester bottles not filled? I haven't used a drop out of either of these.

Keeping in mind that I haven't actually tried any of these yet (except the tester) this may be my best box yet. Chris was my curator this month.

Blackbird Tobacco Lee & Quids - A dry tobacco blend with a hint of sweet blackberry
Windward True North Tonics - A blend of English heirloom tea , rose, and effervescent honeysuckle.
Night Shift Velvet Cloud Vapors - Chocolate glazed donut with a smooth touch of creamed coffee.
Orange Bl'Awesome Cosmic Charlie's Chalk Dust - Orange blossom scented mimosa
I'm so Tired Tester - Ethopian roast coffee, oak barrel aged for a month with organic vanilla beans.

The tester is awesome. I will absolutely buy it when they put their line out for sale. I love dark roast coffee, the darker and more bitter the better. I think this may be the best coffee vape I've ever had. It hits my coffee profile perfectly.

My CV profile is pretty much send me whatever weird floral, tea, coffee and oddball flavors you've got. Either I burned off all my taste buds while smoking, or I just have really strange preferences because I don't like most plain fruits, vanilla, or any of the other "normal" flavors that everyone else generally raves about. But mix them together and add a hint or rose or violet and I can vape for days. Cinnamon, licorice, violet, lavender, rose, spices etc. bring it on. I'm pretty sure they tear out their hair every month putting my box together. :)

I can't wait to try the rest of my box - Windward sounds (and smells) amazing.

I'm happy to see they are still sending out Draco Vapors. Draco's tobacco is one of my most favorite tobacco flavors of all times. I should probably go request a bottle for next month.

I've had the NN Shirley Temple in a past box. It was fantastic. I love ginger ale but hadn't found a ginger vape that actually tasted like ginger. They did a great job, and you could also taste the grenadine. I was really impressed. I should go dig out my other bottle of NN that I haven't touched yet and see if they do as well with other flavors.

OMG TOTAL BOX ENVY

I want your box. I too love the exotic oddball (but good) flavors. I can't wait to hear what you think of them. I also agree wholeheartedly about the CV Tester Coffee Vape. Once they get their own flavors set up to sell, that one is gonna be a huge winner for them. Once the word spreads, it will probably be vapedom's favorite coffee vape ever.

I got my box on Thursday and heres what I got:

Ben Johnson's - Morning Dew - A citrusy vape with fresh blueberries.
True North Tonics - Fathom - Dark berries
CV Tester - Every Little Thing - Candy Corn

So after a month of bakery caramel Fair food overload I took Baked Goods off of the table this month. I still left custards and chocolate and teas and ... So I was a little surprised to get 2 berry vapes. They both smell great, and I will report back to let you all know what I think. I need to continue tweaking my profile. I seem to have a different curator every time, I've had 3 in the past 3 months. I don't know if it makes a difference. I know Chris oversees all the curation no matter who the individual curator is. I need to make it so that I don't get 2 or 3 of the same flavor types in one box. My profile isn't that narrow. Oh well, these juices will be a nice change I'm sure and for next month I will get more specific in my comments.

Oops forgot to mention that I absolutely abhor candy corn. It is the unspeakable evil of Halloween candy. That being said, the tester smells fantastic, haven't tried it yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Had some time with my box this month. I was sent -

#1 Blackbird Tobacco from Lee & Quids. A dry tobacco with a hint of sweet blackberry. I am loving this one. I have not been the biggest tobacco fan in my 6 months of vaping, but I just can't put this one down. Maybe I am starting to like tobacco vapes, because I am also in love with Frisco vapors Fillmore right now.

#2 Key lime cookie from Ripe Vapes. I loved monkey snacks from this company, and this key lime cookie is nothing short of excellent itself. I can not vape it for very long, but it is great as a treat.

#3 Duffy from The Collection. Described as a sweet vanilla cappuccino. Primary is coffee and secondary is creams, custards and vanillas. I am not a big fan of this one. I am on the search for a good coffee vape, but this one has too much of a vanilla custard taste to me. I do not like custards and it over powers any coffee that may be in the juice. I will vape it with my morning coffee but would not order it again.

Can't wait for next month!

SETUP- Mod: Brickhouse Box Mod /// RDAs: Dark Horse, Dual coil , ~.3 ohms ; Mutation X, Dual coil, ~.3 ohms ////////////////// INHALE: I taste the baked good/cream-filled frosted cupcake, which is subtle. I would mark this as the secondary flavor profile. ////////// EXHALE: I taste the citrus/Orange zest, which is more noticeable than the baked good flavor profile. I would mark this as the primary flavor profile /////// Other: I seen that someone was told that this was suppose to be similar to the hostess Orange cupcake, so I went and bought me a box, ate a few, and compared. They both have the same flavor profiles, however, HELLO, GOODBYE's baked good flavor profile is subtle compared to that of the Orange cupcakes' and the citrus profile is more noticeable than that of the Orange cupcakes'. ////// Would I buy a 30 ml of this? F#&$ yes! [emoji4]

So that other box that I guess I was sent (different shipped date and tracking than my monthly box) says delivered on Nov 1... yet I have received nothing. No idea if it got lost or my crappy post office put it in someone else's box. Seems to be a common problem.

I had a situation once where they created 2 shipments for my 1 monthly box. I got the notification, but nothing ever came of it. You might want to call them and see if they indeed sent you another box, just to be sure.

Yeah, almost did! But i got home and it was delivered. Sure enough, the folks at CV (who really do read our forum posts) sent me the tester for this month. But not only that! They sent me the Carnival of Light that i have been hoping to get... But wait! There's more! They sent me Good Day Sunshine... Annnndddd a bottle of Ripe Vapes Coconut Thai!!

Seriously, surprised and shocked! I figured maybe they sent a tester... No idea they would go this far, and they couldn't have picked a better day. Have had a very rough monday and been in a foul mood all day... CV just gave me a real pick me up! Not just that they sent me free juice, but that they care and honestly pay attention to us... People who have wondered why we love CV? This is why!

Thanks, Jake! You made my day! I cannot say how much I (we) appreciate your customer service and the fact that you genuinely care and pay attention to us... And we don't even have to call or complain. It is truly impressive. I really wish more companies used the CV service method. If you (and/or the rest of the CV crew) were here in VA or ever are... I owe ya drink or three!

DNA Vapor: Key Lime Pie- Spot on Key Lime Pie. absolutely delicious.
Mojo Vapor: Kook's Coffee- I was surprised by this one. I was unsure how I would like it due to my distaste for cofee as a main flavor. But this is great. the coffee is subtle and not in your face, and it as an after taste that subtly reminds me of the smell of my late great grandfathers chewing tobacco, which is comforting.
R&D: Trickz- Not low resistance friendly. Getting consistent burnt hits on a .4ohm coil with new japanese cotton. I do get a subtle hint of the Trix, but the burning overshadows it.
