Surprised to hear that about the Trickz. I've gone through a bottle of it on a fairly low resistance Trident and enjoyed it a LOT!

Does it taste better on other builds?

Haven't tried it on other builds yet, accidently left my MVP at work so I was stuck with my CLT on my Nemesis only. I'll be cleaning out a tank for it tonight.

My Subscription box arrived today! Woohooo (etc)!

Looks to be a good box, Roxy was the curator :)
Nice little cloth thing, don't really want to ruin it by mopping up e-liquid spills though...

So, I received:

Ben Johnson's - CR3AM {Cookies and Cream}
Royal Vapour - Queen's Custard (I put an apostrophe although it might be a custard for queens?? idk) {custard}
DNA - London Bridges {Black Tea & Creme Brulee}
Aplha Vape - Hoops {Honeydew, Cantaloupe & Pear with Cream}
Boosted - Boosted {Strawberries with heavy cream}
Propaganda E-Liquid - Widow Maker {Bavarian cream with Blueberries}
Tester - Hello Goodbye {Cream-filled frosted cupcake with orange zest}

There looks to be a lot here that I will like, really looking forward to trying London Bridges with a nice cup of tea. The tester sounds pretty good too.

I am a little worried about the Widow Maker though as I really hate blueberry (it is listed under my 'hates/dislikes' in my subscription comments thing), plus Blueberry Waffle (Holy Grail Elixir) was the last blueberry flavour I tried and it was unvapeable (for me), but I will try it with an open palate...

I hope everyone is enjoying their boxes, I am looking forward to the reviews! (and the best of the boxes)

London Bridges is REALLY good. It is one if my favorites from my CV boxes. I'm not big on the blueberry waffle stuff, either. But ya never know... You may wind up liking it ;). That is half the fun of these things. I had Boosted this month, and it was actually really good on fresh cotton. Nice buttery cream. The strawberry was ok, not as good as strawberry blonde, but the cream was nice and buttery. I liked Hoops a bit better after it steeped some. Let us know what ya think!

Best of the box. Not sure if it counts... But both of my testers placed top 3.
1) Carnival of Light - caramel apple. This is more like the caramel apple sucker than a true caramel apple. But i definitely enjoyed it! I vaped it all up in short order.

2) frisco Marina - mango hi-chew. That is exactly what it is. It isnt spot on, but it is really close and very enjoyable vape. Could be an ADV if light mango is your thing.

3) Good Day Sunshine - watermelon hard candy. Some would say that it is like a jolly rancher. But I disagree... It is more like those hard candies in your grandma's candy dish... Except its watermelon. Which I prefer. Not overwhelming or too sweet, but sweet enough to satisfy and mellow enough that you want more. I wasnt going to include this in the BoB, but in the end i preferred it to my other bottles.

4) Boosted - Boosted. Strawberry Cream/Custard. This one turned out much better on fresh cotton. A very buttery custard type flavor. I love butter so, this one initially was in 3rd, but i wound up enjoying the GDS more. My wife, unfortunately tossed the bottle, so i used the card to represent it.

5) Fogium - Ohana. Caramel custard. This one really reminds me of Kings Crown claim your throne. It's pretty good, a standard caramel custard. Sometimes simple is all you need.

Not shown:
True North - Fathom. Dark berries. It did get better on fresh cotton. I liked the realistic bitter of the finish of a dark berry... But the sweetness wasnt quite right, and i think that is where the odd flavor is coming from... Whatever they are using to try to sweeten it. I wound up giving the bottle to a friend who really liked Fathom. I did try it on 2 different builds and fresh cotton... Same result.

Ripe Vapes - Coconut thai. I did not include this in the BoB since it was a surprise gift and all. I defensively get the lemongrass and a thai chili powder taste... I dont get the conconut, though. It took me a few vapes to decide how i felt about this one. However, i wound up really enjoying it. It is totally different from any other vape and i do enjoy the warm spice in it. It's pretty complex and not an ADV for me, but it is a nice change up in my daily rotation. High marks for originality.

Thanks, CV, for the box(es). Keep up the good work and great customer service! I'll have my formal CV tester reviews on the site shortly! Already anxious for this month's box lol!

I was not expecting too much from Boosted as I saw someone say it was just another strawberry custard, but I really like it. I thought it tasted more like a creamy rice pudding with strawberry jam (Jelly) than a strawberry custard. Very smooth and I do get the sort of buttery biscuit (cookie) taste too. Overall it is pretty delicious and I would certainly rate it well above Unicorn Milk (tasted too soapy for me). I really wanted to try Strawberry Blonde this month too, but it wasn't to be.

The London Bridges was quite a surprise, I was expecting creme brulee with a black english tea (as per the description), but it is creme brulee with lady or earl grey tea, very floral. It reminded me of going to church in my youth, the smell of incense and all that. It has a refreshing feel to it and I love the creaminess coming in at the end. I have a sort of love hate relationship with this one (I did vape 5ml of it yesterday though), for me it could do with being a little less sweet, as we all know, it is a crime against tea to be putting sugar in Earl/Lady Grey.

I agree on the Hoops, I am leaving it for a bit as it is a bit too intense for me at the moment, just too much melon and not a lot else. Queen's Custard is also getting a bit longer to steep, I did try it, but it has a distinct alcohol taste (probably due to the vanilla flavouring used). So, I will leave it with it's cap off for a while and hope it goes away.

CR3AM I thought was just OK, nothing special. It does taste like a biscuit we have here called a Bourbon cream, which is less creamy than an oreo and more of a dry cocoa flavour. There was nothing wrong with this juice, it is fine and all, but just a bit meh. It could do with being a bit more creamy I think.

The Tester this month was pretty good for me (Hello Goodbye). I get a strong orange Tic-Tac flavour to start with (orange menthol) and then a very nice smooth creamy butter icing taste as a finish. Really a great mix, a powerful punch to start and a delightful soft ending. It is slightly harsh on the throat though (in a dripper), but all in all a very pleasurable vape.

I am really disappointed in getting the Widow Maker (Blueberry Cream), I have tried it and it is horrible. It just makes me feel a bit sick. I don't know if they exist, but to me it tastes like what I imagine a blueberry car air freshener would taste like. I am sure that if you like blueberry then you might like this juice, but this juice is not going to get vaped by me.

I wish they had sent me CRFT Strawberry Blonde instead of a flavour mentioned on my 'dislike' list.

.

That was me. My first vape of it wasn't on fresh cotton, so it was muddied a bit, and it seemed like a typical strawberry custard... not bad, but unremarkable. However, after putting it on fresh cotton the buttery flavor stood out a lot more and made it much better. You're right... the strawberry is more of a jam type strawberry.

Never put sugar in Earl Grey! That being said, I actually really liked the sweet of the London Bridges. I like to think of it as having a cup of earl grey and my desert at the same time ;). I will say that I am actually guilty of putting a spot of honey (from the comb) in my Earl Grey from time to time, though.

OK, couldn't resist. Did a shop order last week.

Flathead Fluids- Rumble Seat (kettle corn), Five Pawns - Grandmaster (try to keep some on hand always, one of my top 5 all time favorites), more Ripe Vapes VCT (see previous comment :D ) and some Trickz.

If they'd pick up the Fog Boss line and possibly Cyclops I honestly wouldn't have a reason to buy juice anywhere else.

Not sure what the deal is with the shipping, though. It shipped on the 3rd, and last tracking update is leaving LA on the 5th. Hope it shows up Monday, I was expecting it yesterday and vaped up my whole stash of Grandmaster yesterday morning.

Haha :)

I did think it was you who said it, but I was being too lazy to go back a thread page or two...

I might have to try the honey with Earl Grey, maybe it will heighten my appreciation of London Bridges. I will tell the Tea Police to turn a blind eye.
I still think it is a lovely blend, the creme brulee part is superb and it has given me some ideas for DIYing.

I too am finding widow maker an odd one, I get more of a black licorice undernote to the blueberry, I can vape it but it is a bit off putting....I think the cream part of it could be good if this blueberry/black licorice was a different flavor instead.

Lady caramel tastes like one of my DIY blends

I haven't tried the candy corn tester yet, I,like others, don't like the real stuff, so I've been hesitant, I'm sure Chris has a good flavor, I just mentally am having reservations about trying it.

Been doing more diy lately so haven't been hitting my box as enthusiastically lately.

Gonna have to cut back my subscription to 2 bottles a month. Maybe cancel completely. Between getting my first apartment, now I just bought furniture, my vape money is going to be tapped until I get a raise at work.

Good job on the getting an apartment! Freedom! (Pretend that I posted a pic of Mel Gibson in Braveheart here)

I quit my subscription today, my decision was more about my taste in e-juice rather than a money based one though. I just expected too much I guess, regardless of me being a really fussy bugger.

I have enjoyed receiving (randomish) bottles each month and seeing what everyone thinks of what they received.

Out of the 22 juices I received, these are the stand out ones that I would happily vape again:

1) Vaping Birdy - Emperor Penguin (Condensed milk + Honeydew)
2) Vapor Las Vegas - Trey Trey (White Chocolate + Vanilla + Raspberry)
3) The Standard - Cell Block 4 (Creme Brulee Cake + Citrus notes)
4) Boosted - Boosted (Strawberries + Heavy Cream)
5) DNA - London Bridges ( Creme Brulee + Earl Grey Tea)
6) Craft Vapery - Erm, cant remember the name, but it is the Mango sticky rice one (Mango + Coconut)

I hope you all continue to get juices that you love and that I get insanely jealous at seeing what you got!

I've had my ups and downs with my 4 months. Two of the months I didn't receive my tester bottles, but hopefully that's fixed. I enjoy the surprise of what comes in the box and for the most part the flavors are really yummy. I enjoy the convenience of having it delivered and having consistency with liquid. My box this month was my first not being thrilled with the flavors, but a the others have been pretty yummy. I'm enjoying craft vapery so far, hopefully the kinks are all out now.
