So of course the second I get all smart-assy I get proven wrong lol Got an email last night that my box shipped. Tracking says Monday. To be honest. I expected minor delays due to new site but for me it's actually faster than normal. There is only one thing that's worrying me a little. I never got a chance to do the feedback on the tester well at least officially. I just hope that didn't boot me off the tester list I would cry I went on the site and Prophet is right no peeking. I do wish they would have your order history up there though if nothing else for reference of flavors you have received I see a spot for shop orders which is obviously not available yet. Maybe it will all be under that later. Anyhow can't wait til Monday CV I love you guys [emoji76][emoji76]

I see how it is lol...so it is my turn to say neiner neiner? I live in Wa state and still haven't gotten my shipping email yet and it usually only takes about 2 days to get to me. I should be getting my email sometime next week. I seem to get my email around the 25th of the month. I do have a package coming from nicoticket to hold me over till CV gets here so it's all good. I lost my replacement bottle too which bums me out...it was candy peach rings and was delicious I only got one tank out of it before I put it somewhere and now I can't find it . Damn huge purse and liquid drawer I swear they swallow things and I never see them again.

Still no shipping notification for me, kind of concerned. I got the email on the 15th that I was charged, but just looked at my bank and there is no charge there anymore, it's like they processed it but never actually submitted it. I did see it in pending on the 15th when I got the email.

For those of you that have had the service for a while is that normal, or is it possible there was an issue with my order given the website change?

I think that the new section under subscription where it lists previous flavors is going to be where you will be able to "peek"... Based on the verbiage "Your current flavors... Here is where you can rate your curated selections for this month". However, that is clearly not fully functioning yet. But I am thinking that that will be the way to peek.

To inform anyone who isn't familiar with their schedule. Brand new customers are charged and boxes shipped next day no matter what day of the month. For all repeat customers: Accounts are charged on the 15th of the month but boxes are not shipped until the LAST week of that month. That gives them time to fix any charge card issues, and to lovingly pack our boxes. So... if you have been charged, no worries, it's still early in the process. If you were not charged, I would email or call them to make sure you will get your box. I am usually one of the last to ship and this month I was one of the first, so don't sweat it. I will be back later to tell you what 's in the box. It has been delivered now I have to go and get it :vapor:

Well, I'm all embarrassed now. It wasn't my box that shipped. I had made a comment about having a CV tee so I could represent and they were so kind and generous to send me one. I got a sweet note from the ever so nice Roxy, and I couldn't be more happy and grateful. Well, if it had been my juice, well then I'd be over the moon, but there you are. So, I'm back to waiting like all the rest of the east coasters I hope my juices are good this month.

Just got an email back, there is some glitch in the system somewhere...I was charged, they have the money and will receive one this month. Soooo, if anyone is still in question. Email an inquiry.

I have had this issue with a company in Germany I do business with. They will charge, it posts then disappears but the transaction completes. Go figure...

You should ship within a business day of when you subscribed. Barring glitches...

Got my box. Initial impressions are as follows:

1) Juice Society Skyline - FRUITY! Its described as peach and strawberry in a citrus base. Its a better strawberry than the one I requested and received last month, and a better peach than the only other peach I've tried, the underwhelming Peach Tea from Velvet Cloud. It tastes a bit like it has orange zest in it, slight bitter notes, but not unpleasant. Its quite good.

2) Beard Vape No. 88 - I requested a chocolate-mint, this is what I got. Its okay. The only other chocolate-based flavor I've had is Velvet Cloud's Mewlew's Magic, and I love that. This lacks the same level of richness. I wonder if I might not be better off just mixing some menthol into Mewlew's.

3) Herbal Dose Rose Candy - Love it. The rose isn't overwhelming, but present. Its balanced by the fruit, blueberry and pomegranate.


So, now I'm a bit conflicted. After last month I decided to take a slightly more active hand by making two requests instead of just one. I keep my requests pretty open, just a general flavor I'm looking to try. I generally don't ask for specific brands, or specific bottles. This month I requested the chocolate mint, and I requested a bottle from Herbal Dose, specifying one of the flavors with rosemary or sage in it. That covers five out of their nine (now ten, they just added a new one) flavors. So what do I get? One that doesn't have rosemary or sage. At first I considered sending it back, but really I wanted to try the Rose Candy anyhow, and yes, I'm glad I did. Its a contender for first place this month. But... it still isn't what I asked for. I could have just ordered what I wanted directly from Herbal Dose themselves, and indeed I probably will do just that.

So my point is, I'm having doubts as to what to do. Am I using this service all wrong? Should I not make any requests at all and leave it up to fate? I've gotten some good stuff from CV, but I've had about an equal success rate buying random stuff I've picked out myself from other sources. And yet CV is the one who directed me towards those sources in a lot of cases. And most of my flavor requests have wound up falling flat for me - the random stuff I get from CV tends to win out.

Snarfies, your dilemma sounds a lot like my initial experience. I was very reluctant to "let go" and let someone else just pick out flavors. For the first couple of months I did pretty much the same, I made specific requests, I gave one month a mission to send me berry vapes. I have recently been a lot more open to them just picking things. There's two reasons for that I think. One, there have been so many new flavors in the vaping world that how the heck do you keep up. Well that's what they do, that's their job, keeping up with new and great flavors. Two, I have exhausted myself with trying new flavors and we're about even, CV and me, on how well that works out. I know this sounds like a cop-out but it's all in what you want out of the service. Me, I'm at the point where I have several flavors that are go-to everyday ADVs. If I had to, I could live off of my top 5 or 6 forever. But I'm a flavor junkie, and a foodie, I want to know what's out there, what's new. Who is the new vendor that's gonna knock my socks off. If I hadn't subscribed to CV, I wouldn't have found Ripe Vapes. I'm crazy about their juice. Same with Herbal Dose. It's like trying a new restaurant. You might not like every dish, it might the best meal you've had. But if you're a foodie, you're gonna go try a new one, especially if your good friend who knows what you like recommends it. That's how I see CV. Add to that the customer service and the group on here who loves to talk about their boxes, and well, it just wouldn't be as fun for me to just order stuff I think might be good but could actually suck. I had to learn to let go a little, give them guidelines and room to send me stuff that might wow me or might just be "okay". Maybe it's a time thing, I don't know. I think you have to decide what you want from the service and then decide if your're getting what you want.

Still waiting on my box. USPS shows an expected delivery date of 2 days ago. Tracking shows it still wandering somewhere between South Carolina and Texas. Still trying to figure out why it went to SC from LA.

Edit: Got to my local post office about 2 minutes ago. Must have been a case of USPS workers sucking at scanning things. It's due today.

When you guys look at your payment info in your account can you see it? I updated it the other day and hit "save" now there's no payment info in my account... just did again with the same result... just blank fields and I have not been charged this month, yet. I'm going to contact them.. but head's up.

Yes, I commented on this when the site first came up. However, I did get charged after I had updated the info... not sure if the two are linked. But from the email that I got from CV, it seems like they still had the info in the system and that is just a way to update it??
