Crappy flavor

I got my first 2 1.5 ml Vision Extremes a couple weeks ago and after a week of vaping one, I was very impressed. I proceeded to order 1/2 dozen of the 2.5 ml size and the first one I filled just doesn't taste right. I've gone thru close to a ml and it's just not getting any better. Could there be a problem with the Extreme? I don't know what else it could be. Anyone have any ideas?

Is it the same juice? The same voltage? The same resistance on the Visions?

Is the plug seated correctly so that the wick slits are lined with wicks? Did you let the wicks soak before taking the first puff? Did you dry burn before use?

Not sure about the plug. I took it apart and cleaned it and haven't retried it. I never let the first one soak first, nor did I dry burn.

Pre dry burning I do a scratch and sniff to see if it needs it. And I ALWAYS let the wicks soak and sometimes even put a few drops directly on the coil first. As far as the plug, if it is twisted a bit and the slits don't line up in the wick, then it won't wick right and you get a burnt taste.

I retried it today and was careful how I replaced the plug. I didn't realize they needed to be lined up just so. Gotvapes should let a person know about some of these things when you order them. It could save them some business. Thankfully, there are people like burns_erin around here to help newbies out. Anyway, all is good today. It vapes the way it was intended. Thanks.
