Well I'm vaping a lot and have been fiddling around with the massive number of different juices I've acquired during this short vaping time. Man - the physical memories of smoking cigarettes are so ingrained. I literally turn toward the pack that isn't there.

The fiddling around helps. vaping makes it much easier. Weird day - I'm venting. It gets easier right?

It gets much easier. One day you'll be disgusted by the smell of smoke as if you've never taken a puff before. Best thing you can do is relax and hit the e-cig. Always take note of your cues. The things that give you that craving to smoke. That way you can start to expect them and mentally prepare. For me the hardest one to break was hopping on my motorcycle. I would always used to hop and the motorcycle, light up, and then let it warm up while I smoked. When I started to recognize that was the cue I was able to prepare for it and relax through it. Usually the cravings only last a minute or two and if you get through it you'll be that much stronger. Good luck on your journey for a healthier lifestyle! =)

Another way to help is not make cigarettes accessible. I made the mistake of keeping cigarettes around. They were all still stashed in all of my most convienient places. I had to get rid of them to truly succeed. There will always be an excuse if you choose to keep them. I'll stop at the end of this pack, or I'll stop after buying this last one but unless you decide to make the commitment it becomes very difficult. No day but today my friend.

It definitely gets easier - hang in there! When I first started vaping on a 'mini', I used to lean forward on the couch looking to tap the ashes in an ashtray that was no longer there. I'd just call myself an idiot and keep on vaping! Good luck to you.

Close to a month and not smoking. Still have a craving every slim now and then. No cigarettes in my house helps. Girlfriend came over smoking, I took a drag off of hers. It tasted like i just licked an ashtray. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Every time I get a crave, I just hit the E-cig and either relax or do something to take my mind off of the craving.
Hopes this helps.

Welcome to ECF ecottage. I will agree will the others, it gets easier. Sometimes you find you need higher mg Nic or higher voltage ecig to get rid of the craving for that last 1 or 2 smokes a day. I helped someone convert but he was still smoking 1 - 3 cigarettes per day until he got a variable voltage device and was able to Vape at 5 volts. Stay strong, you can do this!

I was afraid that the cravings wouldn't go away. I'm weak, lol. My biggest cravings came after grocery shopping. One day I realized I was halfway home and I hadn't had that anxious "I need a cigarette NOW" feeling and was vaping happily without even being conscious of it. I actually can't remember the last time I had that anxious craving.
