None of my vendors have said anything about this. I find the whole thing totally ridiculous. What I buy online is MY business. As long as it's not illegal it shouldnt matter.I just dont understand what their beef is all about. The minors getting ahold of vaping stuff is REAL thin......total weaksauce. They have a better chance in buying cigarettes than vaping stuff. I use a credit card to buy my vaping supplies and I personally dont know any minors who have one. And while I know some minors do have one, they are JUST as apt to buy other things online like cigarettes, porn videos, ammo and a host of other things that a minor isnt supposed to have. I GUARANTEE all of this vaping red tape crap if straight from the big tobbacco company lobbyists.

Look to freedomsmokesusa - they at this point can not accept credit cards - had to use an e-check for my last order. About the only good thing that could come from this if they could sue for lost business.

It actually appears they are just getting the ability to use credit cards and are just testing it, not they can't anymore. The message on the main page seems as if they have never been able to use cc's until now.

I think the FDA, American Cancer Society and the Pharm industry have more to lose from the success of vaping than big tobacco. I have not run into this myself but there does seem to be a growing buzz about it.

According to the sticky on FSUSA's ECF forum, their CC processor did indeed cut them off back around about the 21st of Nov.

It has taken them nearly 3 weeks to get back up and running with a new "E-Cig friendly" CC processor.

I think we will probably see more of this with other vendors too. Remember BWB about a year ago? Same problem.

I finally received approval for a merchant service account for a new PV and web store concept. That's the good news.

After months of preparation, I was ready select a credit card processing company. Frankly, I thought this was going to be the easy part. Boy was I wrong!

I quickly learned that the "e-cigs" are categorized as "high risk" and that very few companies are even accepting applications. The rates and reserves are extremely high. You either just suck it up and pay, or try to find an off shore provider....but the terms and rates are not much better off shore.

It's an unfortunate reality. The merchant service company I am working with confirmed that several merchants are getting closed down by there existing providers. This is a real issue, that will have a trickle down effect on us consumers. For example, higher prices and less innovation because it's become a more difficult business to get into. It's a shame!

Stratus, Thanks for the info. Thank god people like you are still in the game, and willing to figure out how to get through the hoops. We could not vape if real people didn't have real resolution. I write the government, sign petitions, but that realy only pales to the dedication of the vape business owner.
