Just curious, I understand the crinkle finish BB's are no longer available, but I was lucky enough to get on in the classifieds. Just wondered how many were made? Got to say I love it, feels awesome, and looks great with my Black Jeep!

There were just about 40 or so that made it out, severeal of the crinkles had a bad finish and stayed here with me
It is possible, I may give it another go in the futureReally!? I guess that makes this little beauty sitting beside me somewhat rare.
Are to going to be doing the krinkle finish again?
Just wanted to express my interest in a 'future' crinkle BB, I would buy one up in a heartbeat if they came back.It is possible, I may give it another go in the future
the crinkle bb has like a nice rough dull matte finish. it is a powder coat finish. i would love to see that finish on an SB as well.
heck he could do an after market paint job for peeps. i would love a krinkle green bb and pt to matchHeck, if Chad would do it, I'd ship my SB back and pay to have it "krinkled"!
That would be difficult. In order to powder coat a unit it has to be taken apart and then just send the shell to powder coat. The heat caused by baking the unit would damage the internal components otherwise.heck he could do an after market paint job for peeps. i would love a krinkle green bb and pt to match
i am aware. but maybe it could be an after thought when people send them for repair. That would be difficult. In order to powder coat a unit it has to be taken apart and then just send the shell to powder coat. The heat caused by baking the unit would damage the internal components otherwise.
Actually, we don't get enough in for repair to send a batch to the powder coater. The total number returned to date wouldn't even be enough. We can't send one at a time.i am aware. but maybe it could be an after thought when people send them for repair.

I don't know how easy it would be to section off a small area for powder coating. I think the smallest units take up a 20' area and cost at least 15-20 grand.
Dont think that Steve, the machine shop guy, would want to do powder coating. He has enough work as it is. lol
Think he has a truck and a bikeHeh, as soon as he knocks out that first run of OMeGa BBs you can give him a break. He could learn how to do the powdercoating on parts for his car and bike
