I recently got my second Crius with the new Velocity Build desk - and loving it
I looked at various vids and noticed most use the upper to lower method for placing their coils

But I couldn't see the reason for this so I used the Horizontal plane method, and she work fine, plus I can see a quad coil attempt in the future.

Is there any reason/benefit for a basic dual coil using either Method ?

Its designed for one leg of the coil to be trapped in a high hole, and the other leg to be trapped in a low hole (on the other post).

The reason for this design is because it matches the same shape as the coil and keeps the leg lengths similar.

Asymmetrical leg lengths can cause a "hot leg", especially when using temp control.
