I have a crown 3 tank with an ipv5 and using the .25 coils. Viva laraz Gilbert and parsons 6mg.

The first few hits are great. But I have to take off the top cap to get any flavor afterwards. Kinda like a vacuum or vapor lock issue. I've primed the coil's and even tried a new coil not from the box, same issue.

Ive tried joules and watts and the different coil type options. Even played around with the manual tcr coil select, no luck.

First, I'm going to assume that is a high VG juice, since you are subohming. VG does mute flavors a lot more than PG. You may need extra flavor in the juice, if that is an option, or a flavor shot of that flavoring blend to add more to your juice.

What ranges of wattage have you tried? I start a new flavor at 60 watts, then adjust accordingly, if it fades out in a few hits, up or down by 5-20 watts can help.

Hi Gear & welcome
Yes it is a vacuum and it's supposed to be there. By releasing it to get the juice flowing what you're showing us is that there is a problem with the wick drawing the juice from the tank properly.

That's why Blue Moods is talking about the thickness of max VG juice which can be a problem with some of the earlier coils but I'd be surprised if Uwell would allow that on a new tank. Could be a problem with that particular coil. The loss of flavor sounds like a lack of juice to the coil. Of course that could be a problem of over vaping either through power settings and/or chain vaping and/or air flow settings.

So tell us more.

I don't vape it that often since I have to take off the top for flavor. Also I've tried fully open airflow and less airlfow. This is the first coil though, the one that came with the tank. The juice is a 70/30 blend. Right now I'm on 89 watts. The .25 coils is 80 to 90 watts.

Thank you for the quick reply.
