For sale is the ver 2 of the Cthulhu Tube Mod in black. Like new condition. Comes with the original product packaging (shipping tube, cloth bag, user guide). Uses 18650 or 18350 batteries.
It’s nicely made, but it has its quirks. The fire button needs to be pressed pretty much square on for it to fire. The battery contact just barely clears the insulator, so batteries with a thick-ish wrap won’t reliably fire. Todds reviews has a good review, and shows all the pluses and minuses and a tear-down:
The lowest this can fire is 0.25 ohms. There is a alternative top cap available that turns this into a full mech with no protection. The cap is NOT included, but can be purchased from various China-based retailers for about $9 should you want to convert this from a mosfet to a full mechanical mod.
Price is $25 shipped via First Class Mail (with tracking). Insurance can be also be added for actual cost (which I think is $2.45)
