so I am really intrigued by rba's so i have a on of questions and i'll ask them in list format.
  • how do they work?
  • what is the best way to build them?
  • what parameters do they work best on?
  • do they work better on mechanical mods, APV's, or does it not really matter?
  • what ones work best for the price?
  • are there any safety concerns?
  • in your opinion, which work best?

as i am completely new to these, i am completely unbiased to any opinions that you give and i appreciate any input that you give me.

also don't mind any spelling or grammar errors because i only have one hand to type with because i broke my wrist pretty badly literally two days ago while i was snowboarding :(
Thanks!

1) You just rebuild the coil/wick using kanthal, non res. on some, silica,or wire mesh
2) There is no best way to build.Whatever works for you is the best that is the only way to put it.You will have to experiment with wire mesh, and silica to find out which you prefer.
3) Again there is no best for anything in the ecig world.Depending on how you build your coil either low ohms(below 1.2) you would need to use a mech. mod.Coils over 1.5 can be used on both.
4) Posted from above, depending on the coil build will determine which mod you will need to use.
5) Again there are best depending on what you want to spend, and whether you want an RBA that uses silica,or mesh wick.smok RDA drip atty,A8,Hornet dripper(pricey),terminator(more advanced using both kanthal and non res. wire).
6) There are always safety concerns the use of a faulty battery and the use of a mod that has no protection. As long as you know what you are doing and are careful,no need to go over the top with this though, you will be fine.
7) Again there are no best to use but i tend to lean towards RBA's that use silica wick(Bamboo, cotton, ceramic rope).I think the taste is better using silica.I use ceramic rope in my RBA's,just recently started using it and i like it better than silica at the moment.

thanks heaps. i know there's a lot more i should know about these before i invest but everyone starts somewhere right? I'm really just trying to step up my game and I'm very interested in mech mods and rebuildable atty's (i love the huge CLOUDS of vapor you get from them) anything else i may have forgotten to ask? I'm really trying to cover all the bases on the subject.
