I saw a youtube video of someone calculating the cost of 1 gallon (126 bottles of 30 mil is 1 gallon). So if you get a 30 mil for 10 bucks, which is very cheap tbh, you are still spending $1260.00. You can make a gallon for under 100.00 if you DYI
Thx for the calculation of that i didnt realize i was spending that much lol. Me and my girl vape close to 20ml a day so it adds up at the end of a month. If i can cut down the cost by 90%ish it be crazy not to give it a go.

My DIY costs me about 2.5¢/ml so I could vape 20ml/day for $15/month

:2c:/ml lol

I was wondering the same just a few days ago as I found myself out of my favorite menthol juice... The maker is based out of the UK and the US stockist for his juices has been out for months now with no replenish in sight...

Price of a 30ml bottle by the maker: $22
I like this particular juice at 24mg and a 50/50 mix.

So I went and did some research... Found all I needed at Wizard Labs
- Menthol Eucalyptus flavor concentrate by LorAnn (30ml): $5.45
- Menthol crystals (15 grams): $2.89
- USP PG (120ml): $3.19
- USP VG (120ml): $3.19
- Nicotine Solution - 48mg (120ml) - PG base: $9.99
- Nicotine Solution - 48mg (120ml) - VB base: $9.99

That totals out at $34.70 (give or take a couple bucks for S&H)... Let's say $40 all in.

Total volume of liquid purchased is 510ml. Let's say it takes me a few tries to get the mix right... Chalk 30ml down the toliet for testing and we're at 480ml of final product.

That's just over $0.08 per ml. So; yeah... I'm going DIY for this particular flavor.

PG, VG, Nic, and flavors = .055/ml for me. I had 20+ 30ml bottles that I boiled for some storage so $0 cost there. I buy mostly from Nude and Capella's. Nude costs are a bit more but it's quality every time. I have spent money on other mixing equipment that I don't calculate in my final number like a magnetic mixing table. $40 on amazon. The table decreases my steep times from weeks to days. Worth every penny. Big batches can be returned to the empty VG/PG bottles so .00 cost again. Once you get your recipes down, you can premix the bases and just tweak flavor to save some time. Additional nic tweaking may be required. Go DIY.

Whats this magnetic table you speak of? Is that the thing you see in labs that you drop a magnetic thing in a beeker and it spins around mixing up a liquid?

Yup... Exactly what that is.

FYI... You can make one for about $20 and a bit of ingenuity...

Get a cheap 120/140mm computer case fan. You can find them for $5 - $10 in many store that sell computer accessories... Heck; even Wallyworld has some dirt cheap ones.
A bag of magnetic stirring rods will run you $5 - 10 from fleebay.
And last... We all have a bunch of DC adapters that we don't use any more. You know; from old phones, old boomboxes, old mp3 players... It doesn't matter. Something that outputs 5V to 10V and is rated for a a couple hundred milliamps will be more than enough.

Here's a video of one and how it works... Super simple and cheap to make.

if you buy your pg/vg in bulk from soap suppliers it dirt cheap, and it's all USP. Nicotine will be the most costly thing you buy, but a little goes along way. I bought a 250 bottle of 100 mg nicotine for $30 bucks at Wizard labs a year ago, have hardly touched it. Flavorings, buy a few 8 or 10 ml bottles to try what you like, then buy the flavors you like in bulk.
drops the cost of your juice to pennies :)

Thank you for your advice im getting a shopping list together as we speak. The flavorings has got my head spinning though ,sooo many. I like apple cinnamon pastry i have in a premade juice im trying to track down a good recipe to get in the right direction. With all the ones out there it appears to be tough to get one thats sourced all from one flavor company taking me awhile to search it out.

I've heard RTSVapes has a large flavor selection.
