I loved my evods. all 4 of them. but I broke one traveling, and the other 3 I melted the glue on from washing with too hot of water. Thats what I think happened anyway, eventually liquid started leaking out around the edges of the see through part.

I got a few PT2 minis (I too like to switch juice often) after a friend recommended them. The pull is MUCH airier, but I'm used to it now. Low maintenance, no leaking, big win :)

One of my first clearos was a vivi nova. I like it, but it didn't sit well on the egos so I only used it occasionally. Picked up a APV this week, so its getting much more use now! I put my ADV in there and fill it twice a day. I still use the PT2 minis, and fill them just as often.

Make sure you dry burn your coils (not with cotton) because this cleans the coil and will allow it to last MUCH longer. There are tons of threads and videos on it online, so I'll leave that to them.

I also use the Smoktech ARO's. However, I buy Kanger T3S/MT3S heads for them. I do this for two reasons, first the new Kanger heads use a silicone grommet instead of rubber for a better taste, and second the slightly smaller wick hole works better for my rebuilds than the standard ARO heads.

Are you talking about the pyrex-and-metal AROs, or the plastic-and-polycarbonate AROs? I got one of the first run of the pyrex AROs and it accepted Kanger heads, but after I bought a few more after liking the first ones so much, I found that later production runs seem to only accept Smok heads - the metal ring at the base is a little narrower than the Kanger heads, so they won't quite fit in when I try to thread the base into the tank. Are you grinding them down?

I might venture a guess that you were using a tank cracker juice in the Evods - I had the same thing happen to me when I was first starting out with the one I'd been using for a cola flavor before I learned that anything with cinnamon or acidic flavors like citrus are a no-no for plastic tanks.

I still have a bunch of Evods that I really like and that work great, but they sit unused in favor of the glass tanks I've acquired that I know will be safe to use with any juice.

I use the Mini Protank 2. Once I started vaping authentic Kanger product instead of counterfeit, I've never had an issue with them. (It's a long story but it is the reason why Fasttech gets no more money from me)

The Mini PT 2 is easy to clean, economical, and uses less juice than all the new dual coils out there.

Tried the iClear 30 and the iClear 16B that came with my MVP 2's. Ok...but not enough for me to get away from the mini PT 2. They were both dual coil units and all they did for me is drink more juice and require me to up my wattage on my MVP to get the same vapor temperature......

did you try the protank/evod coils (maybe try T3S coils)

the T3S coils are 'just' different enuff maybe they will fit

T3S coils will fit in all kanger bcc's, but not vise-versa (excluding bdc) (what I use)

there is a 'lip' inside the T3S tank that does not allow the bigger coil to insert

kanger is changing these all the time, which would make economic sense;
make one coil and perfect it in QC...

- Kanger T3s/Mini T3s/MT3s

Hmmm...I wasn't aware that the T3s coils were different than other Kanger coils - I've never owned anything T3 styled. While I'd be tempted to try, at this point I've got a year-plus worth of Evod/Protank coils for me and the wife that won't go into the Aros, and since I have no T3-type tanks I'll probably just order legit Smok replacements - but this could be good info for others who want to try the Aros and have some T3 coils handy.

EDIT: Viewing your link, the metal ring at the base does indeed look smaller - still a bit wary about taking a chance, though since I have yet to find Smok coils for less than $1.50 (and they're usually out of stock), desperation may set in soon. Thanks for the potential alternative solution!

Have 1 protank-ii and 2 protank-ii minis. Bought the 2.5ml b4 the minis but I'm starting to really like these minis now that my protank-ii is broken. I need a new base, I'm pretty sure that I broke a thread or two due to being a ......

I like my minis coupled with 1300 mah batteries. I fill both of them up in the morning and take both with me wherever I go because that's how my backing up really works (not one on the go and one at home but both on the go ^_^)

Between the wife and I we have 7 total ARO's from two different sources and at least 3 different production runs. These are the Pyrex ones. We use exclusively the T3S/MT3S heads with them and they work fine. We prefer those since they use the new silicone grommet instead of the old rubber grommets. Also they have a smaller wick hole that works better with my rebuilds.

For what it's worth, we also have a couple of EVODs and the EVOD heads do not fit in the AROs but the T3S/MT3S heads do fit both the EVODs and the AROs.

cool

yepper, you can tell by looking at the rim above the o-ring on the coil (I call the pan)
T3S 'rim' is ALMOST the same size as o ring
evod rim is clearly LARGER than the o ring

I have been buying only the T3S coils now just for that interchangability reason

been kicking this around in my mind because my desire for
ARO, RBC, EVOD, DV bcc - DV coils (cheaper) and if they all switch-a-roo (or not)
just haven't pulled the trigger and have them all together at once...

- DV BCC Clearomizer
- DV BCC Coil Heads
