Got a second hand rda from a friend and since its a plug type I figured it wouldn't be too hard to make another cap for it. I plugged the bottom hole and I drilled a hole that I can position near the coil and it produced much more vapor than the stock hole. The cap is made from sterling silver though it is a lot heavier than the original aluminum cap.

Thanks asdaq, the wall thickness for this cap is 1mm, and the airhole at the side is 1.5mm cause I prefer a long drag than puffing. I'm also thinking of making another atomizer using the ERA's design which is a much simpler design that the rda also copied. I'm using silver in my atomizer builds since it's also a safer metal than brass or copper. The only thing I hate about it is that it also tarnishes so I have to plate the outer shell in rhodium.

GW I love the fact that you use silver and etc and complain about it :D....if I could all my mods would totally blinged out with precious metal and all the other insanely cool shiz you can do. Your stuff is truly unique!

The RDA seems much more sophisticated than the over priced ERA.

There are some differences between the 2, like RDA uses thumb screws while the ERA uses an allen wrench. The ERA uses stainless steel while the RDA uses aluminum. Also the size is different but the overall design is the same having the positive pole at the center, but I love my RDA since it works well and it's inexpensive.

Maybe it's a sign that I'm getting old, that's why I'm complaining too much :p There are advantages and disadvantages of different metals and I'm still figuring out some of them.
