Well, I didn't think about the sale because I was so anxious to get my hands on a Nimbus which just arrived in the mail today. Wow -- what a great device and I'm saying that as a ProVari owner as well. The fit and finish is much nicer than the earlier ones I have seen and I love the black finish. I've heard that the mfg. had improved the QC on the product and from looking at the Nimbus, I believe it is true. It doesn't feel as "slick" as the silver ones, by that I mean it doesn't feel like it is going to slip out of my hand. The buttons are very easy to use and I especially like having a separate button for raising and lowering the voltage. And it's only 7 button pushes to check the battery level. I have not fiddled with locking the voltage in yet, but I know you can do that also. I've been using it for several hours now and it does everything it says it will do. I've been vaping from 3 to 6 volts just to put it through its' paces and to say the least, I'm very impressed. The heck with ohms, I say. I have a multimeter that will measure them for me and how hard is it to remove the carto and check it? And how often do you need to check the ohms of your carto? I normally check mine before using a carto or atty and then each time I refill the carto and every once in a while for an atty. So, guess I'm saying I don't miss not having the ohm test function.
This device is a steal at the price. I got just the device and not the kit since I already had the batteries and chargers. Per usual, it came very well packed and worked right out of the package without a hiccup.
For anyone thinking of going to a VV (Variable Voltage) PV, definitely take a look at the Nimbus. I do not think you will be disappointed getting one. I've used anything from LR cartos to HR attys and each one performs just fine. This device for sure goes into my daily lineup of devices that I use.
Thank you Stormy for starting to carry the Nimbus. I hope you have plenty of them on hand because once people realize how nice they are, they will be flying off the shelves.
BTW, Stormy -- congratulations on your one year anniversary. You must be busting with pride over the growth you have experienced in that short 12 month period. I know you are one of the top shelf vendors who will be in the game for the long haul with your combination of product variety and fantastic customer service. (wish I knew how to do a clapping sound emoticon...lol. I'd have inserted it right here.)
horton -- out
