Awsome.. We are getting somewhere.. What % do you think are seized?

Can_supplier, please stop complaining about how bad and hard to do your business is! If you don't feel comfortable with it, just close the doors and find something more easy to do and more profitable. This forum is full of your posts with indeed misleading or at least not so correct information. Want some personal stats? Here you go - 12 nic juice orders, one refused (not seized, was returned to the shipper) or 92% went through. Total loss - $5, the cost of this particular shipping only. Very same package got re-shipped with different description and went through as well. 20-30-50 bottles order is certainly not "for personal use" and if you have problem importing such quantities, I do not. Many people do not. About hardware - 100% goes through. Batteries, atomizers, empty carts, chargers, boxes... everything with no nic contents inside - never had any problems! This is my personal experience. Am I super lucky guy?

Many people say "we must support Canadian suppliers". Well, in fact we can't support anybody's illegal business by just paying higher prices. This way we can support only our laziness to search for best deals and our impatience to get the stuff tomorrow. The main question that comes in mind is "how Canadian suppliers are going to support us in case they have to close the business under enforcement"? It is real threat, isn't it? Imagine I was a very "supportive" customer with $200-300 in hardware and this much in juices. Where will be my customer service? Where I can get spare parts? Who will replace my bad battery under warranty? The bad, slow, unreliable etc. Chinese suppliers? Come on guys!

Btw, I get excellent support from my Chinese supplier. Nothing to complain about. I got replaced all defective parts under warranty (some bad batteries, few bad atomizers). He does not wait to get the parts back, just sends the replacement ones (according to my list) with my next order. Nice and easy. The products I receive are exactly the same like products Canadian suppliers sale. No difference in the quality, very same products from very same manufacturers. About the nic juices - proper packaging and proper description does the trick. Customs do not open or check not suspicious packages. I send him my requirements, he follows the instructions, I get the juice at my door. And the return address is not the same. Am I doing my "business" better than you?

P.S. I am not here to argue with anybody. This is just my reaction on now hard, risky, expensive and slow is importing stuff for personal use from China. I have read many post here saying this but from my personal experience I find it incorrect and misleading. Especially when this information comes from a local merchant. I believe this forum is not intended to be suppliers advertisement space. The information members share should be correct, proven and helpful, not business oriented.

C'mon fellas, this argument has outlived both its usefulness AND it's uselessness. Let's get it together.

If it's outlived it's uselessness, doesn't that make it useful? :)

I do believe that it's important that consumers understand what can_supplier is doing. I think the point has been made, and if he decides to let it go, I'm good with that.

I'm totaly with you Val D on that.

Even with customs refusing shipments I'm only 15$ out for that shipment, wich ain't a big risk if you compare with over inflated price that canadians resellers are charging. I think that paying 1$/ml without shipping is too much when I can pay less than 20c/ml by ordering on lightinthebox (about 7.69$ for 50ml and 2$ shipping) . If it doesn't get there I don't care because I did 5 separate order and a minimum of 1 parcel should at least get to my house, if 4 get here I'm at 25c/ml so I'm still WAY ahead.

the key is to always re-order when you're down to 2-3 months supplys, right now I've got around 250ml sitting here and will probably do 2-3 more order of 2 bottle of 50ml.

Why are you folks flogging a dead horse? You don't like a supplier, don't buy from him. It is that simple. In the meantime take a hit on some high octane because some folks seem to need a hit.

Because the dead horse keeps coming back to life with strange posts :D

I have no personal issue with him or his business. I just wish he would put some more thought into his posts, and every once in a while decide that maybe posting isn't always the best choice.

I think he and I should go for a beer.

Back to the main topic, that makes importing stuff for personal use from China even more tempting.

P.S. More statistics: Got yesterday 3 x 30ml 24mg from abroad. The score is now 13:1. Another package with 3 x 30ml is on the way. Will let you know in a week. Got last week parts for $90 also. No problem at all. Customs cleared in 3 days.

Well this is a bummer. Just got an email from Health Cabin saying that my order of empty cartomizers, empty bottles, and a couple of e-juice injectors was returned to them by customs. No juice at all in the order, just empty carts.

You need to watch the tracking of your order. If its stuck in customs for more than a few days you need to get on the phone to see what the problem is. Expect about 2-3 days of phone tag.

When they see carts they are assuming the are full unless told otherwise, only then will they inspect some rather than denying entry.
