Cut nic in carto w/out washing down the drain?

I talked another one of my friends into getting a couple of VK starter kits (for him and his wife). Turns out, the 24 mg. is "too strong", so he's coming over to my house tomorrow so we can do something about it. I can't imagine how to pull this off without washing the nic out of the carto and down the drain. My plan was to fill some of my empties with lower nic mix and trade for his, then wash his stuff down the drain so I can fill with something I can vape.

Any suggestions and/or tricks I don't know about? I hate to waste juice...

you can also suck half (or so) of the juice out with a syringe, and top off with a 0 or lower nic juice.

Thanks, guys. It was late, so I guess I was just making this more complicated than it needed to be. I'll work with them by dripping into a 901 until we find the right nic level for them, then just guess-timate the rest. I should be able to get it pretty close by sucking them dry-ish with a syringe, cut w/VG, replace juice.

Here is what I do when I want to drain a carto.
I remove the mouth cap and washer.
I put a condom on lightly (Not pushed way down on it)
I slide it into a battery sock mouth end down.
I spin the living crap out of it.
I gently push the carto out of the sock.
Voila the juice is now out of the carto and in the condom.
