Cutting liquid with PG and VG?

I've been thinking about getting some PG or VG (I think VG is more likely in terms of availability) and mixing it with some of my stronger liquid.

My questions:

1. Will this reduce the flavor of my liquids?

I want this to happen. I have a big bottle of JC 24 mg "tobacco" and it's just too sweet. I'd love to lighten the flavor and be able to still use this liquid.

2. Will this reduce the nicotine content of my liquid?

I also want this to happen. While 24mg definitely stills the monster inside of me, it also makes me feel fuzzy around the edges. I think a lower mg might be better for me, because clearly I want to vape all the time, but don't want to be fuzzy.

Is this a solution anyone has tried?

How did it work?

Hey,

You're right VG is an easier find, yes it cuts into both flavor and % of nic.

It's a good thing I have to cut my 24mg. too or else I get fuzzy too.

I'm thinking some of the fuzzy comes from tobacco withdrawal as well...

My throat feels funny, not sore really just more present than usual...

Perhaps it's coming back to life?

Cut it, VG works pretty good without adding any water also

I'm a minimalist...

I just smoked mine down to the top of the label and filled her back up with VG...

i also tossed in some coconut favor to take the edge off...

That's a personal prefference though...

So maybe 1/8 VG to 7/8 24mg.

It's easy to add, not so easy too take it back.

Maybe do a mix in a plastic free-bee syringe and test that out before you do a whole bottles worth?

experiment, to get your personal levels

I did it.

I went down to Rainbow Grocery in SF and bought a bottle of vegetable glycerine. The small bottle was only $3.49 so I also bought a little funnel, and a pretty blue glass bottle with an eyedropper cap.

I've mixed it up into a small bottle at 2/3 24mg JC tobacco to 1/3 VG

First impressions after 2 carts of it:

Lots more vapor. Wow.

Still has that sickening sweet flavor of JC Original, but it's a lot lighter.

Cutting seems to be a good thing to do. After two carts I am not "fuzzy" At all, and while this isn't my favorite flavor, my supply is definitely going to last long enough for the lower mg juice I bought to arrive.

No way of knowing what my nicotine content is right now, but it doesn't feel fuzzy, so that's probably a good thing.

Thanks!

Really dumb question here: Can I cut my juice with water?
I made 2 juices order: One with medium juice (11mg), the other ones with high juice (18mg) thinking then since I was a heavy smoker (1 pack a day), I would start with the 18mg, finish the bottle, and then go with the 11mg.

But I received my 11mg first, tried it, and it seems to work pretty good for me. So I'm scared to go with the 18mg and have heachaches and dizziness...

Thanks for starting this thread and for the many contributions. I had thought about putting the question out there. I am planning to get VG tomorrow at the craft store and some small bottles (and maybe a few larger brown ones).

Rather than cut the nicotine, I was more interested in minimizing the PG which dries out my throat too much. Also, some of these flavors are just too sweet so cutting them will be a pleasant experience.

Thanks again.
