You guys said I could ask questions... :2cool:

I got my Cyclone RBA in today and it is not working. Alone it works fine. I put it on anything, like a Reo, and it draws like sucking mud through a straw. Any ideas? I know I build it right. As soon as I back it off it draws ok.

Big bummer, I was really looking forward to this RBA.

Sounds like bottom air intake (like a carto). Can you post a pic? You could might drill a hole in the cap in front of the coil?

I don't think it is the cap. It is something with the base/connection. It only happens when I put it on a device. If it is off it draws fine.

EDIT: I'm a dope...you were right. Seems the wick was blocking the air hole. I poked it back with a needle and all is well now. Still tight, might need to be drilled out a hair.

EDIT 2: *sigh* took the tip off, used a flashlight to see were the hole was. Still covered, use a jewelers screw driver to move it off. Life if good. :)

Thanks!

I drilled mine out to 5/64" it was a little too tight for me. Also I put an oring in the dripwell so atty gets tight with the coil opposite the button. You running a micro coil in it? What kind of wick?

The 1 mm is working great for me, I actually like the tighter draw. I need to find some o-rings, they were not in stock when I ordered last. I made a "standard coil". 32g kanthal, 2.5mm silica wick and it is doing excellent. I will probably try a micro coil soon -- I didn't have any cotton around I could try building one with.
