Cyclops (Cyclone AFC): can you take it apart?

Cyclops (Cyclone AFC):
Can you take it apart?
It's two pieces that spin inside one another. I've yanked on it fairly hard, and it doesn't seem to want to budge.
I don't want to damage it, but it'd be nice to be able to clean it at some point.
Has anyone managed to get it apart and reassembled?

I've always though that with enough force it must come apart, but I never did it because since it's so tight I was afraid there may be damage done to the o ring by removing it and I never felt the need to do it bad enough to risk it, but I'm sure it must come apart there's no other logical way for it to be assembled

I dont need to seperate the caps that often but i use a plastic handle small screw driver to push the top section off of the AFC.

Got it apart
It was just too Damn tight
Really needed cleaning and o-rings lubed while it was still new
Everything is very nice now
