Daddy, you smell stinky (originally posted in the new member forum)

In early December 2010 I was holding my 3 year old son. He looked at me and, as honest as a child can be, said, "Daddy, you smell stinky." That evening I went online and ordered a starter kit from MyLuci. I got it 4 days later and haven't lit up a cigarette or cigar since. Two weeks after I got the Luci I realized I was too heavy of a smoker for the Luci carts although I really like the auto batteries that came with the kit. (still using the batteries) So I ordered a Joye 510 and e-juice from ecigexpress. Another 4 days went by and the 510 and e-liquid arrived. Later that same night I found that the 510 was a perfect fit for me but the e-liquid was, how should I say, well, it was horrible. Back online, I found a company called iVape and ordered some liquid. TWO DAYS. I still can't believe how fast they sent that package. One word for the iVape juice, fantastic. So I now realize that while I will still be trying new places, there may never be a one stop shop. I have a 510 atomizer and cartridge from ecigexpress filled with e-juice from iVape on a Luci auto battery. A small price to pay to never have to hear, "Daddy, you smell stinky!"

hi jbilod1 -- so many of us newbies relate and echo your experience. I too sometimes wish there was a one stop store for all of our eCig needs -- but instead there seem to be a lots of niche stores -- I would suggest you take a look at the suppliers list here on ECF -- it is quite an education just going through that list and visiting each store. I purchased an RN4081, then a 510, then a 901, then a 901 passthrough, I have recently ventured to order juice in different flavors, have looked into DIY juice, which I think I will do sooner than later, and have started a wish list for modified eCigs, or "Mods" like the Reo Mini and Wetbox -- I guess it's all about finding the one that suits us the best -- but at least we're not smoking while we find the right PV for us. I think most of us newbies will start with the classic starter models -- and that's the important thing! To start! And you have. Congratulations -- Enjoy smelling fresh!

Huhlarious! My wife, although she smoked - would hold her nose when I walked in from the outside after puffind down an analog. Well, turn about was fair play when I started vaping and she thought that I was just going thru a phase. When I began holding MY nose when she walked into the room, she began to take vaping a lot more seriously.

Now, we're both analog free -

And, my wife absolutely LOVES the way I "stink" when I vape BwB 555...

One of the greatest joys that vaping has brought me is the kisses and hugs I get from my 4 grandchildren, ages 3-10. No more "Mimi, you smell like an ashtray". Also, I no longer have to send them to the other end of the house because I want to smoke an analog. We also have 2 new babies due this year *the first one will be here Feb. 4*, and I know that I won't have to worry about washing every gift I buy them before I bring it from my "stinky" house, AND I'll be able to love on them all I want without fear of making THEM smell like an analog. This makes all the wads of money I've spent on vaping absolutely worth it.

Feb 4th is a great date, my grandaughter was born that day she will be 2 this year. It's a great feeling not to have to think about what you have to do when you were smoking.
