Matthew 6:25 (NIV)
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?"

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
– Exodus 20:12

Happy Mothers Day

Matthew 1:21 (NIV)
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[c] because he will save his people from their sins."

Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
– John 5:24

Mark 1:15 (NIV)
"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"

He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” Jesus said to him, “Assuredly I tell you, today, you will be with me in Paradise.”
– Luke 23:42-43

The thief on the cross....another name we don't know, but God has made sure that we know about him. His conversion was simple and he is saved for all eternity. God's Word is full of people we don't know their names, but we know their story. He had a dying conversion and his faith was strong. He didn't care who heard him....He wanted to be with Jesus. WOW! How powerful is his story! Amein!

Exodus 20:3 (NIV)
"You shall have no other gods before Me."

For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
– Psalm 84:11

I know many people on this website who would differ with Exodus 20:3, but not me!! I'm still standing...well actually sitting.

Psalm 84:11 - I have looked at this verse upside down and inside out, as I had footnotes going to Isaiah. So checked them out and I am back to keeping it simple. He is our Light and Protector. :D
