Hmmm. I just checked and a lot of the flavors I want to order say they have a mix of dairy. I love dairy foods - e.g., ice cream, etc - and expected to like them in vape form, but so far, I haven't found any that did not have a nasty aftertaste/undertone.

Here's a list of the ones I've tried that I don't like (with no desire to throw any of these fine vendor's under the bus because both have flavors that I really like - it's just that personal taste thing):

1. V4L ice cream sundae (ack. I taste nasty undertone with no ice cream)
2. V4L english toffee (similar nasty undertone to ice cream juice)
3. Ms. T's Cake Icing (so disappointed in that something that is similar to the nasty ice cream juice)

So I have, in my cart, TV's cafe mocha, butter cream, and considering butter rum, but butter rum and cafe mocha list dairy and I've lost bravery.

Ideally someone could tell me they had the same issues with the dairy flavors but don't have that issue with the TV flavors.

ETA: I've also mixed pralines and cream capella's with some vg and pg and that nasty undertone was there... it's so mysterious.

Obviously this is a more general way of getting at that question in the other thread. Some day I'll resolve it and just order!

I understand your apprehension. I was the same way at first and I have gone thrue the same juices you have and quite a few more. I only buy juice from TV and for good reason. Its simply the best ! What i would tell you is that TV's juices taste exactly and i do mean exactly like the title states. With the companies you named sometimes you get a flavor and it tastes nothing like what it is suppose to be.

But don't trust me. Order just 1 juice to test TV out. Order something hard and complicated like German Chocolate cake. That flavor has many components and when you get it your going to say Wow. After getting just one bottle you will understand what i am talking about and will be able to order any juice you want without any hesitation.

I hate being cryptic like this but until you have tasted TV's juice you just cant understand. I would make this comparison....TV juice = Ferrari All other juice =bicycle.

I've been vaping the Pralines & Cream today and to me the dairy is very clean and fresh. It tastes exactly like ice cream! I'm always harping on people to let their TV sit for awhile before trying it but I couldn't resist.

I've tried the Capella's Praline's and Cream and don't get the aftertaste you're talking about so I don't know if you would get it with TV's dairy or not. If I were you I would just order one with dairy just in case, though. Sorry I can't be more help. :)

I so agree with GoodDog on letting TV sit/meld for awhile.
Some things I got from them a few weeks ago, I did not care for, but have tried them again in the last few days and WOW just WOW!!

Full Flavor and Taste like what the are named after:p

I have another order coming in this week and as hard as it will be I will not touch them for at least a week or more:(

But in the end it will be worth the wait!

WHOA! Hold the phone. So you're saying the dairy flavors have a nasty undertone? Is that undertone an uber-rich, dairy flave that hits you in the back-bottom of the throat? Does it almost make you gag and get slightly nauseous? I've tasted that taste... I call the flavor "death and gardenia's," but after further reflection... it tastes more like "funeral home and stale lavender"...

I first noticed it with TV's Butter Cream that I ordered (with extra Dairy and EM)... but that flave is so light and high-throated, it never bothered me... and I mostly ordered that flave as a mixer for Cafe Machiatto anyway...

But then someone on the exchange sent me a sample of Dulce De Leche and ee8-oee... tons of that dairy flave! So none of that for me!

Unfortunately, a few days ago I received an order from another vendor (yes, Geoff, darling... I cheated on yah... sorry... still love me, baby?), and two of the flaves I ordered had a certain amount of that same nastiness to it... so now I'm hot on the trail of that ingredient, as well...

And to be perfectly honest, one of the flaves was French Vanilla, so now I'm really confused... and to further that confuzzlement, I tried that same Cake Icing you did, and it didn't have nearly the same undertone to it that her French Vanilla does...

So I'm not sure if it's dairy or vanilla I need to avoid... :-x

Any thoughts?

Hmm it will be VERY hard for me to let my TV sit and "marry" once it's here but I will try HARD. I ordered Butter Rum and Am Stone Sour. YUM (I hope)!!!

I had Butter Rum from Perfect Electronic Cigarette before hearing about TV and it was yummy. I hope the TV is even better...

Interesting question about the dairy undertone... hmmm. Now I'm a tiny bit afraid. :p But still excited!!!

I just vaped some of the Buttered Rum last night and I can't detect that same, nasty undertone... it's not a light, buttery taste that dances along the top of your mouth... it's more of a heavy, morbid taste in the back and bottom of the throat... you know, it tastes like the devil's digging a grave to bury your tongue...

I have found that that undertone does settle into the mixes a little bit after sitting a few days, but if it's real overdone, it tastes nasty... eternally!

I just received Chocolate #712 with Dairy and Pralines and Cream and both have a light, ice cream-type dairy flavor. There's nothing heavy or bad tasting at all. In fact it leaves my mouth feeling very clean. So maybe it isn't the dairy??? Or maybe it's an individual tastebud thingy???? :)

Very likely it is an individual tastebud thingy (and please, quit using overly-technical jargon, lady!)...

I just want to find out what that ingredient is so I can avoid it in the future... that's all.

LOL :D

Do you know what the fuzzy flavor is that's in some of the juice... like Bananas Foster and Peach Melba? Oops another technical term!

Karl, you cracked me up. Yup. Embalmy flavors. That captures it!

Now... if you find the mysterious ingredient, please share. I'll do the same.

Have butter cream coming, so we'll see if the tastes coincide. I have tried and tried that same vanilla icing you mentioned. I want so badly to like it. Alas... but I would say the worst, the meanest, the cruelest disappointments of all were v4l english toffee (which lots of folks Love) and ice cream sundae (ibid.).

*sigh*

I have such high hopes for the butter cream. If that doesn't work, though, I still have the tastyfinger, caramel popcorn, and pecan pie in the same order. I eyeballed that dulce, too... if the butter cream is good, maybe the dulce will be.

V4L english toffee (similar nasty undertone to ice cream juice)

I didn't try the ice cream juice from V4L but I didn't try the ice-cream sundae and I liked it very much.

As for the V4L english toffee - I didn't like it either - it had the taste of celery to it, esp. on the exhale.

Ms. T's cake icing was also a let down for me so I'm feeling your pain.

If you like creamy and like coconut I can recommend V4L's Coconut Creme pie - very creamy with just the right amount of coconut and no weird after-taste.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the butter cream at all... but PM me and I'll see about getting a sample of the Dulce to you before you order a whole bottle of it... the Dulce definitely had a bad case of that "caskets-n-cream" going for it, IMO...

LOL @ Karl  You always make me laugh!!! :D How do you come up with some of these responses?!! ;)

You know, I spent years thinking I was just somehow comically brilliant... some of the stuff that comes outta my pie-hole, you know... but then, about a month ago, my friend and I discovered that I fit the profile for Asperger's Syndrome... it's a high-functioning form of autism...

So I guess it all depends on whether you want to put your faith in God or science... I usually go with God... although science may help explain why I'm so darned funny... and still single...
